The Class V (5) is named after the whitewater classifications of I through V+. Class I being a tame, lightly rough water flow while Class V+ being a fast, dangerous, whitewater section of a river.
This is a very big, bold but balanced double IPA. A very dry finish with a huge but not completely over the top hop flavor and aroma. Citrus and pine dominate and, in combination with the dry finish, produce a sharp, clean bitterness that encourages the next sip. Another beer to be careful of, as the drinkability of this beer can hides the high ABV.

Deep golden colored body; thick, frothy and sculpted head. Mild aroma a light cereal grains and some citrus and mild pine notes. Mild toasty flavor with a well-balanced hop bitterness; biscuit; faint note of alcohol. Medium-heavy body; crisp and biting; soft warmth coats the palate; pretty much dry throughout.
A nicely done imperial IPA, fairly subtle and balanced throughout, delivering a nice blend of soft, quiet malt grain backbone with a decisive hop bitterness.

12 fl oz pull-tab can:
Hop profile doesn't dazzle and it's a bit boozy. Warm pineapple, floral hop flavour, 2-row/pale malt.
Not particularly well balanced or built, but it's drinkable.

L: pours a honey, golden color, nice head and lacing
S: hints of bright citrus with a strong alcohol back
T: just like the smell. Lots of citrus in the front with booze flavor on the backside...but not overpowering
F: nice mouth feel, nothing to spectacular
Overall: nice dipa if you don't mind a little alcohol taste. I really enjoy this beer. Very approachable double

Bought at Liquor Shed.
It pours a clear pale gold, plenty of foam, yeah, and lacing.
Smells of grapefruit citrus and pine, floral and fruity. Not much of a malt presence in the smell. Double IPA.
Ahh..there's the malt, in the taste. Sweet but not over the top like some of the style. Hops well represented as in the smell. Low dankness level. Smooth, not overly boozy. Little bit of onion, thankfully not too much.
Medium bodied with lightish carbonation.
Above average for the style. I like it.

The best thing this beer has going for it is the color and lacing. Doesn’t hide the alcohol well. Is in the aroma and dominate the very sub par DIPA.

Poured from a 12oz can with a canned on date of 9/19/17; into a tulip.
Appearance- gold and unfiltered with enough bubbles floating to a thick, fluffy off white head. Lacing is profound!
Smell - pine, earth and alcohol.
Taste - a blend of booze, floral and herbal hops.
Feel - definitely bitter with a dominant hop influence.
Overall- this is a good looking beer, but falls short everywhere else.
