An excellent beer from the folks at Outer Range Brewing, Frisco, CO! Deep golden, very hazy, fluffy white head of medium density, smell of various fruits all mingled together, taste it the same, with a little dry/sharpness on the tongue, nice feel overall. Its amazing to me this is a single-hop with Citra, how this single hope gives such an aroma and falvor complexity is truly a gift from mother nature, used well here by the excellent brewers. Excellent!

Pineapple juice yellow body; thick, foamy white head, rocky and fluffy. Fine aroma of fresh mango, pineapple, and tangerine. The taste folds together flavors of mild citrus fruits with some lightly toasted grain flavors; biscuit; decent bitterness permeates the flavor. Medium-heavy body; a little dry; some alcohol warmth.

This is another fine effort from Outer Range. It is impressive when a NEIPA / hazy styled beer actually tastes of fresh fruit and not old, stale citrus rinds. This is a very fine offering and well-worth enjoying if you come across. it.

Poured from a 1lt crowler. No dates or anything. Poured into a tulip.
Look: Pours a cloudy, hazy gold with about 2-3 cm of thick head which hangs around for ages, leaving some nice lacing down the side of the glass.
Smell: Yum. Fruity! pineapple, citrus, orange peel, little bit of grassiness in there as well.
Taste: Similar to the smell, fruity, pineapple, citrus, peel, maybe a bit of stone fruit. A little bit of sweetness in there too.
Feel: Its pretty juicy, in the sense that it feels a bit like pulp-free juice. Mouth coating, not a whole heap of carbonation on the tongue. Bitter, but a not aggressive, a rounding bitterness.

No canned on date.

Hazy lemonade hue with healthy 1-2 finger foamy white head with good retention and wispy band of lacing.

Aroma heavy with pineapple and dank edge in the background, some mint, red grapefruit juice, and melon too.

Flavor with pineapple, red grapefruit, and melon and peppery finish. Bitterness mellow but higher than most NEIPAs and it is welcome.

Soft coating feel with low carbonation and medium body.

Solid to excellent NEIPA. Will be checking this out at the brewery in March.

I love this beer. Really tasty, really Hazey. Delightful. Definitely in the top 3 choices of beer for this gal. Sweet, very juicy with just the right amount of bitterness. Lemony color, almost totally opaque. Smells maybe like pineapple. Very nice desert beer but I would bet it would have been fab with my burger.

Poured from 16 oz can - looks like flat pineapple juice. Smell is sharp citrus, tropical juicy fruit, and slight hints of grass. Taste is a really nice tropical bite. Somewhat sharp hop bite, but pleasant which is well balanced with a soft malt profile. Assuming this has oats in it. This is a very nice Nee England IPA.

Had on tap. First for me from outer range. Wonderful first experience. Neon yellow cloudy body with thin layer of white bubbles. Smell is full of citra, with complementary pineapple, grapefruit, grass, hay, and lemon. Taste had great citrus and mango haze, with citra hop bitterness and grass backing, nice mixture. Feel is light, bright, and creamy. On the simpler side of neipa's, but a really well made one

Canneed 4/4/20; drank 5/1/20 @ the Yarchvies.

Opaque pale orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big white head; strong, frothy tree-rung lace.

Table sugar, orange rind & baking soda notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Caramel, pine, orange peel & baking soda flavors.

This looks like a New England style IPA, but tastes like a mis-fired West Coast style. Permanent pass for me.

On tap, February 2019.
L - Delightful murk, turbid, not chunky.
S - Great grapefruit, citrus, pith, and dankness
T - where it shines, all of the aromas but with full palate saturation, good stuff
F - wonderful carbonation, a little fizzy at times. Made me bloaty? Weird.
O - a great NEIPA out of high country Colorado. Seek them out if you're a fan visiting Colorado.

Thanks, Nick!

Nick brought this and seven other beers out to me on a recent work trip. Had heard great things about Outer Range, but this would be my first beer from them. Only thing I could track down about this beer was that was basically all Citra.

Poured a medium yellow hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Lots of fast moving bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. World-class spiderweb foamy lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Smelled dry-hopped Citra, lemon, citrus zest, pineapple, grapefruit, floral and grass. Damn good on the nose. (Smell - 4.25)

Tasted even better than the nose. Wow. Straight Citra, but also pineapple, grapefruit, passion fruit, tangerine, orange, floral and grass. (Taste - 4.50)

Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation, leaving me with some hop burn. Juicy, citrusy finish. That hop burn never went away, lasting the whole way down. (Feel - 3.25)

Overall this was a tremendous New England Style beer. Wish it was a little smoother, but so damn good. (Overall - 4.25)

Appearance: light yellow, totally hazy-opaque, like a hybrid between yeast slurry and lupulin. The head is an off-white 1/8 finger of fine bubbles.

Aroma: super hop freshness. Pine, spicy, dry – maybe some pineapple.

Flavor: hoppy and super dry. Much more west coast in style. Pine, resinous, and again, dry. Very well balanced with no off flavors. Spicy and resinous in the finish.

Mouthfeel: heavy-medium. I’d say just a bit heavier than I’d expect @ 6.9% abv. If I were throwing a dart blind, I’d guess 7.5% abv based on the body.

Overall: I’ve had several other OR beers, running the gamut of meh to very good. This is their best. This is a damn solid beer. I love that OR isn’t all-in in the NE-style craze. They show west coast is still a damn fine style. Most of OR’s other beers are NE style IPA. Ironically, In the Stepp (west coast) is their best offering. I’ll buy this beer at every opportunity.

16 oz can, canned on 3/22/18. Pours very murky light yellow with a small creamy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is tons of sweet juicy fruits with some resiny hops,

The flavor is sweet fruit with big resiny hop bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is fairly light and watery.

Overall, a very nice NE IPA.

A growler purchased at the brewery on 09/23/17 poured in a Storm Peak 'Dogfish Head style' IPA glass.

Look- Pours a brilliant hazy yellow resembling pineapple juice producing a small finger of soapy white foam. It quickly settles to a thin layer with a little lacing left behind.

Smell- Fresh cut pineapple, passion fruit, orange slice, mango, some floral and rubber.

Taste- Pineapple/orange juice, passion fruit, clementines and floral notes in the finish.

Feel- Pillowy soft with a slight citrus acidity and dry finish.

Overall- This is one top notch NE style IPA that I'd put up against the best anywhere. A cornucopia of tropical hop flavors that drinks like a liquid fruit salad. I wish there were cans to take back home to the Midwest. A must try when in Frisco!

Great color and awesome citrusy nose. A very smooth and refreshing drinker for any time of year. DDH all citra makes for great tropical and citrusy flavor, crazy hazy with a clean easy finish!

This is the best NEIPA in the state. I've tried as many as I can get my hands on and I believe this is the only one that can compete nationally. I hope we can get this easier in the future.

this is a wonderful ipa, my first from these guys, and really well ahead of expectations. someone told me their brewery used to brew at other half, which, if true, makes sense for this ipa, which is decidedly east coast in nature, super juicy, and absolutely delicious, as good as many i have had from the more popular regions for the style. soft hazy yellow but bright still, with this amazing hop nose thats juicy and tropical at the same time, pineapple and white grape come to mind, likely some southern hemisphere varietals at work, but maybe also some mosaic, which i taste more than i smell. the grain base is cool, very light but also interesting as they go, some wheat i would suspect, pils malt too, maybe even some oats, as this is sort of round and smooth on the finish, fluffy feeling, and pleasingly dry. nice carbonation and just a little bitterness to let me know its still an ipa, despite the dry hop aspect dominating more conventional hop layers. really excited about how good this is, for a along time colorado was lacking in great ipa. the hoppy beer scene has improved drastically with some of these new guys pushing out some great stuff, and i will be stoked if we see more from outer range that taste anywhere near this good. one of the best first impressions from a brewery i can ever recall, this beer is awesome!
