Awesome place! A converted warehouse that's now the Lynnwood brewery, Wilson's Eatery, other eateries, a distrillery, among other businesses. Place was packed with families, singles, all enjoying a spectacular NC warm spring afternoon! The only down vote is the selecfion of grub was a tad limitied, what we had (pork-belly blt and a cheeseburger) was awesome, the limited menu could use some expanding...that said, it's a new place (not open a year) so I'd expected an increasing menu as it grows. We'll certainly be back regardless!!

This place has a really nice German beer hall-esque taproom with a fairly large outdoor space as well. The place was hopping on the Thursday afternoon/evening that I visited for an afterwork celebration and we had two tables reserved (one inside and one outside). There were a lot of folks and the place had a good/fun energy without being too loud or any people seeing like they were getting too out of control. In addition there was a food truck outside to get snacks/dinner.

The beers were well poured with a proper amount of head and at a reasonable temperature. Proper glassware was used based on the style/strength of the beer with both half-pints, nonic pints, and snifters in use.

Service was friendly and attentive as well as offering some insights into which beers you might like to enjoy as well as which ones were likely to be available again.

There were not that many different styles available when I visited, though the offerings in each style were pretty good and the overall tap list was a touch heavy on the black IPA/IPA/pale ale (about 90% of the total tap list) without much else available.

We met the sales rep of Lynwood at a café downtown where she works, and she gave us a business card and bought us two pints if we went to LBC.

So there we went! In an off-the-beaten-path area of Raleigh, Lynwood has a big, beautiful taproom reminiscent of a beer hall. The massive bar could sit a small village and still have room for a couple of skinny hipsters. Great layout for a tasting room for sure. Great music too, and a chill ambience overall.

15 taps of LBC beer, served in 10, 16, 32, 64 ounces: Golden ale, Amber, Hop on Top, Porter, Pilsner, RIS, Imperial Red, Pale Ale, Mosaic Pale, Black IPA, Session IPA… and of course HUBRIS! (Hop on Top was good too).

Putin Tang RIS was tasty. Very reasonable prices and a friendly barkeep. They also offer beer flights, snacks, merchandise and a food truck outside. One of my favorite breweries in Raleigh, no doubt.
