Very good beer. Bit boozy for a belgian strong blonde being 2% higher abv than Duvel or Tremens. But has much more flavor and malt complexity than most comparable option.

Yeast, hoppy bitterness, apple, white wine, plantain, with a hay and barnyard aftertaste. Its 10.5% ABV is very obvious; the booziness lingers in the mouth.

Poured from a bottle at fridge temp. Pours a semi-transparent amber with fluffy white head. The nose is resembles a nice tripel to me. Yeast, orange, bread, biscuits, and a bit of spice.
The taste is fantastic. Again, citrusy notes like lemon and orange. Yeast, bread, graham crackers, slight toffee, meringue, apple, and a slight bitter leather taste. Phenomenal beer that I will enjoy many more times.

I'm genuinely offended that this beer is this far down on the top rated ranked list.
I'm convinced everyone who has not rated this a 4.8 or above has a taste bud defect or simply does not like beer.
Amazing. This is the only way to describe this beer.

Look is amber with very good head retention and nice lacing
Smell is Belgian blonde sort of like a mild LEFFE and a slight boozy apple aroma
Taste is the same as above with that boozy warmth as it goes down.
The feel is relatively smooth considering it’s 10.5 ABV
I am not a fan of Belgian Ale but for what it is one and done pretty good.

750ml bottle into a tulip.
Looks decent. Hazy amber body. Strong off white head with excellent lacing. Yeasty apple aroma which carries over to the taste. Abv quite well hidden. Not one of the better Belgians.

330 ml bottle poured into a snifter.
Cloudy copper pour topped with three fingers of white medium density foam. The head is persistent and leaves a lot of lace.
The nose is mainly yeast aroma, light clove, some spicy hop and mild alcohol aromas are present with notes of golden raisin later in the glass. The light clove and dried fruit notes are present in the flavor which opens with a light sweetness that quickly drys for an overall semi-dry impression. Bitterness is restrained but it has some spicy hop flavor and moderate alcohol flavor. The feel is on the lighter side of medium weight with high carbonation and is smooth and fairly soft. It Finishes warm, a little chewy, and does have a bit of alcohol astringent feel which seems to fade later in the glass.
Nice. Subtle and balanced and a pleasure to drink.
