11.2. From a sampler pack. My bottle says 8.0 abv.
A solid gold with some haze to it. Giant head overflows the New Belgium glass even with a very careful pour.

Aroma, my nose is a little stuffy, but there is sone yeasty spice and clove. A faint fruitcake and caramel.

Taste, taste has some more earthy hop notes to it. Stone fruit, some clove, light bready malt back. Finish is a little spicy clove.

Pretty light feeling with the high carbonation. There is just enough stickiness to it though. A good middle to slightly above example. Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. Worth trying.

Slightly cloudy orange colored brew with a good off-white sticky head that leaves a nice lacing around the glass. Looks appetizing.

Smells of malt with a bit of a floral essence. It's nice and not overpowering.

There's an explosion of flavor, with floral hints and a heavy bitterness followed by a malty aftertaste. There's a slight sweetness to the aftertaste too. It's pleasant.

Mouthfeel is excellent. Nice consistency with some bite, but not much. Creamy foam on a swish, which makes he flavors pop. All beers should be this good in this category.

I don't know if I'd have more than 2 or 3 in a sitting, but that would be plenty. This might be a good beer to end a night with. A sipping beer for after work.

11.2 Oz bottle poured into a tulip glass

A- Hazy golden straw yellow with a massive three finger head with a slow pour. Good retention and lacing.

S- A lot of wheat in this beer. There is a lemon zest to it. Belgian yeast. A slight spiciness. An earthy hop note.

T- A very sweet beer is the first thing I notice. The Belgian yeast comes through very much so in this beer. It has a spicy earthy quality to it. A lot of wheat in here and a lot of graininess. A slight dry and bitter aftertaste.

M- High carbonation, a nice feel thanks to the wheat and yest. It goes down easy except the carbonation kind of keeps it at a slow pace.

O- I really enjoyed this one, its not the type of thing I drink often so this was a nice change of pace and a well made beer.

Poured into a snifter glass from a 330 ml bottle.

It is opaque. It's colour is orange with some golden sparks.

In my opinion, it smells to cheese (I would say Edam) with some hints of lemon. The alcohol is also present.

The mouthfeel is quite good. A little bit bitter, in my opinion.

The overall taste acomplishes my expectations but it is not the best Belgian Pale Ale that I've tasted.

An orange, golden beer with a settling head.

Smell is fruity with notes of peach and melon, some light solvent.

Taste is fruity with a nice fruity character of mostly peach and a little melon. Bitterness is low and fits the style. The beer is nicely balanced. The mouthfeel is smooth and not sharp in the back. This beer has a higher carbonation than the Brune, but it is right ibn style for a Blonde.
I did not expect that this beer would be this balanced and smooth, although not very special this beer is decent and worth seeking out.

First had: on tap at Teresa's, Wayne, PA

Golden-brown body, slightly hazy, with a large puff of foamy white head. Bready aroma, notes of candi sugar and light citrus zest. The aroma follows into the taste, light, pale bready malts, citrus zest, herbal hops, rock candy, light banana esters. Decent, but a bit thin overall. Light-medium body, a bit sticky mouthfeel, light carbonation. A decent drinker, but nothing tremendous.

poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint.

A: darken golden cloudy blonde. big, bold, frothy, almost lathery, head that lingers throughout the entire experience.

S:Crisp yeast, banana, spice, hints of honey?

T: I get the slight banana flavor, bit of spiciness, very mild alcohol warming towards the back of the tongue. A bit watery

M: slight bitterness, but a decent light bodied Belgium brew.

Very light brew that could be consumed anytime. Not a bad beer, just looking for a bit more aroma and taste. I would buy it again if my options were limited.

My first of a Van Steenberge variety pack, by an awesome uncle. Never had any of these before. From a 330ml bottle into my Darknes snifter.

Pours a slightly hazed straw yellow. A restrained pour produced a classic three finger head. Superb retention left behind tons of sticky lacing.

Esters, spices, bubblegum, a hint of alcohol, some grainy malt.

More spices, some clove, some bananas, a touch of bubblegum (but not as much as the nose), a hint of alcohol in the finish. Some nice pale malts help round it all out.

Light to medium in body. Tons of light carbonation. Very well balanced between sweet and dry, a bit of warming alcohol on the back of the tongue.

Overall this was a nice Belgian pale; nothing earth shattering, but complex and drinkable. Recommended to any BA looking to branch out into the world of Belgian beer. Looking forward to the rest of the variety pack. Cheers!

Served in a snifter glass.

Appearance: Gold and little dark than most blondes with a white head and speaking of it the head is f'n crazy, I mean in a soft pour it still inflated to three fingers length at least.

Smell: Strong yeast, and very everlasting.

Taste: Like the smell strong in yeast, but not much else any where. I was expecting more have had much better but regardless not disappointing.

Mouth: Heavy carbonation sharp texture and full-filling after taste.

Overall: Very good beer, beer is somehwat of as hybrid cross between a trippel and blonde but overall I like it and I think so would you. Salud!

Poured from bottle into a tulip glass. The color was that of apple juice but cloudy. The white sudsy head lasted throughout most of the tasting. The nose immediately reminded me of a Leffe Blonde, another Belgian Pale. There is a yeastiness to the nose nose with a mild sour edge. Having been warned of the sourness I was pleasantly surprised to find this beer quite balanced. The yeast and light sour flavors were well countered with just the right degree of hops.

Looks like a blonde ale, has the salty taste of a tripel and the violently ballooning head of a wheat beer. Check your Belgian expectations at the fridge door and you'll do fine with this bottle. Don't expect much fizz (which is good); don't expect much bite (it could use a bit more) and don't expect to drink it quickly (because you have to wait for the dense head to dissipate). Do let it get warm, as that brings out the fruityness that is so remarkable about this beer. Not bad for a single.
