This beer pours golden yellow with a weak head that diminishes rather quick, but there is a moderate amount of carbonation bubbling up. There is a bottled on date on the neck of the bottle. The aroma is a mild whiff of wheat & honey. The initial sip is tastes quite fresh, right away i'm getting the clover honey & the wheat on the taste buds & there is a very slight wheat bitterness on the finish but it's nothing at all overwhelming to the palate. It's an okay wheat beer but it's too sweet. Cheers! C

Dark gold to copper in color with a fingernail of off white to dishwater white. The aroma is of wheat with a touch of honey. I’m tasting a splash of honey and then plenty of wheat. The mouth is fairly thin.

Appearance: Pours a nice clear orange color with a moderate white head. (3.75, average)
Aroma: Strong malt liquor, corn with a background of honey and orange/lemon citrus. Not much wheat. Mostly malt liquor and corn. (3.25, dissapointing)
Flavor: Strong corn and honey. Some malt liquor and cherry flavor. Some sweet artificial lemon. Really overwhelms the citrus and wheat, which are nearly nondetectable. Low hops. Finishes sweet. (3.0 poor)
Feel: Medium bodied. Slightly sweet. (3.5, okay)

Overall: Yep, as others have said this beer is not great. A wannabe craft beer that still resembles an American Adjunct more than a wheat beer. It is a gateway beer. Not one I will come back to, but if it brings more people to craft beer, then it has its place. (Final Rating 3.16)

Pours crystal clear honey gold yellow, thick off white head that falls away quickly. Minimal lacing. Aroma is mild. Flavor is biscuits with honey. Feel is super, crisp and clean. Overall a decent summer thirst quencher.

Pours crystal clear gold with a nice effervescence streaming. The pour produces 2 fingers of off-white, foamy, short-lived head that leaves only a hint of surface cap, collar or lacing as it recedes. Aroma is sweet and fruity with bready wheat, grain and honey. Taste is sweet: graham cracker, honey, wheat, bready and fruity with a little pepper and thin bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium with medium-high carbonation, with a hint of juiciness it is slick and a little oily. The mouthfeel may be the high point of this beer. A very simple, straightforward brew for warm weather drinking. Unfortunately I find the sweetness cloying. With no complexity whatsoever it remains a little less drinkable than I would have thought.

Saccharine nose, malt and honey exclusively. Not a particularly pretty beer. Weak body, little flavor, no balance. Unclear what the brewers are going for here, but it falls pretty flat. Relatively drinkable but very weak and too sweet.

Summer honey wheat is right! This is another good beer by the macro craft brewer. I like this one as well, nicely balanced and another welcome change from the crowded IPA and lager categories. This one is also very sweet!

I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful taste of this beer. I was expecting to get honey up front, but no. The flavor of this beer is very good with the honey contributing to the back end of the swallow. I was unable to find any orange peel flavor what so ever. The smell, look and feel is typical for a ale. This is a sweet ale, there is almost no hop bitterness at all. All you get is a wonderful toasted malt character with that typical ale tangy, fruity note. The hops may have a slight prickle to the back end but it's almost indistinguishable. This beer is a great entry point into craft beers simply because it's very close to general American taste profile. Sweet, no bitterness.
