This is one of the most coppery colored beers I've seen. Clear with a fine carbonation, well made in that regard. Sparkly mouthfeel. Fruity, lemony aroma.
They call this an "interpretation of a Farmhouse Ale blended with a Flemish Red." Uh-- does that mean it has Belgian yeast? Something of a citrus taste with sweet fruit punch. The first couple of sips seem interesting, and then it gets cloyingly sugary plus that icky aftertaste.
Overall this is rather sweet and it has that same dirty, raspy hop finish of so many industrial brews. Is that some kind of cheap hop extract, or do they just buy "bittering agent" from the janitorial supply house?
This is not really bad tasting but it's at the bottom of the scale compared to actual Farmhouse Ales. From the 12 oz screw-cap bottle purchased at Liticker's Liquors in Ocean Beach.

Somewhat sweet and cloying beer with strawberry notes. Clear reddish with minimal head, aroma is sweet , taste is berries and sweet malt. Abrupt finish, very dry.

The Farmhouse are from Coors is decent. It poured a clear amber with white head that dissapated over time and left no lace. The scent had a hint of floral bouquet. The taste had a hint of apple. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.
