Great beers, *great* BBQ and awesome indoor and outdoor space. Staff is friendly and service is pretty good. I always have a blast every time I’m there and go back as often as I can

Closing out my scant list of 16 new breweries visited in 2017, comes Tin Lizard. I believe it just edges out Tired Hands as the closest brewery to my house, but I just got there for the first time the other day. It's small and pretty simple, with a look that's about what you'd expect from a small Main Line venue. Service was quick and friendly. There were 7 or 8 beers on tap, so I opted for a sampler flight of 4. The beers were okay, nothing too daring or necessarily memorable, but good for the casual drinker. It's a BBQ joint, and the menu is small but looks very interesting...I did not yet sample the food, merely because I didn't have the time.
This is a cool enough place to check out if you're in the area. It goes without saying that I'll be going back here, just because of the close proximity to my abode, and mainly to sample the food, as I am a brisket junkie.

A very nice, cozy and clean place. The food is great and the beer they brew on site are fresh and tasty. Nice lineup of mostly rotating and one-off beers. Friendly staff.

Tin Lizard is a small, comfortable place right on Lancaster Avenue that does BBQ.
It's nicely polished with a small dining room that looks out over the street, and a small but comfortable bar.
There are 6 beers on tap, and they're nicely balanced in their selection - i.e. a pale ale, an IPA, a double IPA, an ESB, a Belgian-syle, and a porter or stout. In general they're fairly basic, meaning nothing exotic or bizarre, but they're good.
The food is Southern in style and includes items like nachos, wings, bean & corn salsa, pulled pork, BBQ brisket, ribs, burgers, and chicken.

Limited number of taps, but solid beer made on site. Lazarus was particularly tasty. Interesting menu- southern BBQ. Had some tasty wings and a nice brisket sandwich. Sandwich was a bit on the pricier side ($15). Will definitely return.
