A good sour, may have been even better down the road, couldn’t wait though and tried it out. A straw gold with little to no head. Decent sour scent, not a lot of notes on the nose that are suggested on the bottle, simply sour and little funk. Taste is along the same lines, some faint citrus and apricot, little guava if any, only If regarding an overripe Guava. Passion fruit and lemon is more akin to the fruit palette here. Drying, tart and sour, moderate carbonation. A lot to be desired but not disappointing. Again maybe with some aging would this start to shine.

375 ml bottle

Pours hazy golden, no head retention.

Smells of citrus, guava, passion fruit, and sourdough bread malt.

Flavor is of tart lemon citrus with guava and passion fruit coming in later. Bready malt undertones.

Medium to light body, mildly fizzy carbonation.

Very tart, flavor is good. Drinks slow due to the tartness. Very bright and refreshing. Very good sour ale. I wish the tropical fruits came through a little more, but otherwise no complaints.
