Turbid golden orange with a long lasting head. nice citrus/tangerine smell and a perfect amount of hoppy bitter bite. No strong alcohol taste for an 8% beer. A very nice find. We are getting spoiled here in CT.

Canned on 8/9/18

Pours a hazy light gold with a finger and a half of thick white head; some nice retention as it fades to a thick ring around the surface while lacing the glass plentifully.

Aromas of creamy orange and pine, dank pineapple, ripe mango, and a hint of strawberry; dank fruit and light herbal notes balanced by a creamy sweetness throughout.

Taste brings further notes of dank herbaceousness delicately balanced against some well-constructed tropical fruit notes; plenty of dank, sweet mango, pine, ripe peach, and a bit of hay and strawberry on the finish.

Mouthfeel is smooth and carries easily on the palate, highlighted by a pretty effortless, medium body and carbonation; prickly hop presence adds some character while still effectively subduing any bitterness.

Can’t say I knew what to expect, but this is a really solid NEIPA; lightly dank, fruity, a bit juicy, and not to mention pretty easy to down; this one definitely has its own character, and isn’t too far off from the upper echelons of the style; good stuff.

Poured from a 750ml bottle.

Looks nice, a slightly hazy orange gold with a moderate white head.
Smells nice, citrus and fruity, with a little hint of caramel grain.
Taste is great, tangerine, pine resin, some tropical and red berry flavors as well as a decent caramel malt base.
Well balanced feel, good body and very drinkable for 8%. Smooth and a bit juicy, but still with a solid bitter bite in the finish.

Overall, an excellent beer worth picking up! Lots of great flavor going on here.
