A fine neipa indeed, this pours crazy hazy with a light golden hue and little head though it leave some lacing. Aroma is "juicy" with fruits, yet a bready malt shows through. Flavor is similar - very much in line with my favorites of this style. Bitterness that is found in the sip dissipates almost entirely in the finish - amazing. So very drinkable and tasty!

In a pint glass the beer was a pale orange color. There was a small white head that left plenty of lace.
Aroma of fruit, both citrus and tropical.
Passionfruit and mango taste, with some grapefruit showing up late.
Medium-bodied, easy to drink.

Concord Craft Brewery "Safe Space N.E.I.P.A."
16 fl oz can, coded "IT'S A PEGASUS -2 09/05/18"
$17.99/4-pack @ Candia Road Convenience, Manchester, NH

Notes via stream of consciousness: This is one of the murkiest NE IPAs I've seen. It's well beyond the cloudiness of a hefeweizen, and the light reflecting back from the yeast and proteins gives it an almost white sheen. I'd call it golden overall though, beneath a creamy cap of white foam. The aroma is juicy with orange and some other citrus fruits, some more tropical fruits (yes, I know citrus fruits are tropical fruits), some citrus pith, and some pine. It's not really that bright but it's strong enough, and it's pleasant and welcoming. On to the flavor we go... similar as expected. I'm finding notes of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, and mango. There's a raspiness and piney note at the top, and lightly sweetish white-bread maltiness at its base. A bold bitterness runs through it, start to finish, and it finishes dry with a swirl of citrus and pine fading quickly. In the mouth it's light-medium in body and gently crisp. Overall this is a bit more bitter than some but otherwise a fairly perfect example of the "juicy" NE IPA style. Looking back the head retention was fairly average but it did leave some nice lacing throughout the glass. As usual, the haze is expected.

From the 16 oz. can with a canning date of 02/22/18. Sampled on March 2, 2018.

It pours a mostly-opaque looking pale yellow with a modest soft white head that fades to a ring and lacing.

A big effervescence of citrus and tropical fruits lead off the aroma with notes of pineapple, guava, mango, and grapefruit. White bread below it all.

Smooth medium-full body.

Bountiful tropical fruit notes in the flavor with zesty grapefruit-like hopped up finish. Hopheads delight.

Can from Whole foods Bedford.
Hazy dark yellow color with a frothy white head that persists. Tropical citrus fruity aroma and flavor with light earthy grass. Faint bready malt underneath. Nicely balanced easy to drink IPA.

Many thanks to SawDog505 for this can!!

A - Pale orange tan colored pour, thin but dense white creamy lacing.

S - Tropical fruit and crackery malt aroma.

T - Peppery fruit rind, tropical fruit, and ends with a spicy, peppery red grapefruit bitterness.

M - Big medium body that's borderline thick and a silky, semi-dry finish.

O - Another fine Northeast IPA.

16oz can dated 2/22/18.

Pours cloudy yellow with nice lacing and moderate retention. Aromatics are tropical but subdued for the style. Light bodied with a thinnish mouthfeel. Zero malt on the palate with a medium bitterness and pithy citrus. Finishes with plenty of grapefruit and quite dry.

I've been impressed by the Concord Craft products I've purchased in the past year so was happy to give this latest one a try. Very attractive and colorful label on the 16 oz. can makes it stand out on the store shelf. The label says the beer has "a full mouthfeel bursting with tropical fruit" and that was my exact impression as I began consuming the product. The 6% ABV is perfect - plenty of body and taste and no problem with enjoying more than one if so desired. I think this will be a standout product and hope that the brewery will be expanding its distribution in the near future.

Poured into a 16 oz can shaped pint glass, canned on 2/22/18. Pours a very hazy dark yellow, with a nice 2 finger sticky white head that leaves nice thick trails of lace.

Smell is guava, passion fruit, tangerine, and grapefruit rind.

Taste follows tropical front to back guava, passion fruit, and mild grapefruit.

Mouthfeel is a little bigger than medium, mild to moderate life, not dry but a little sticky from all the fresh hops.

Overall this is a winner, excellent hazy IPA, and probably drinks bigger than the 6% ABV would have you believe, but still goes way too fast.

Drank on May 4th. Thanks to the generosity of SawDog505.
White fluffy foam drips curtains of lacing. Orange to golden in hue.
Smells of bright citrus, orange and tangerine, with some almost earthy tropical fruit notes, and a hint of malt that goes more cracker than bread.
Taste is straight up mango meets orange and tangerine. A nuanced peach note comes through and then disappears. Malt contributes as well, with a slightly breadiness that goes in a sourdough direction. Amazing.
Mouthfeel, again here comes that breadiness into the feel. Medium to fluffy. Solid.
Wow. I'd love another shot at this.

Average NEIPA, not a whole lot of flavor. There are better out there.
