Buddy recommended this as he overheard me saying Lead Dog ipas were meh outside of Hop Gods. Found a single can at Total Warm, was like 5 or 6 bucks, but hey, better than dropping $16 on a four pack.
Pours a feint straw hazy yellow. There isn't the thickness of oats or wheat in the appearance, just more of a muddled haze with low viscosity and 1/4" white head. The aroma yet again seemed to be lacking in hop quality and quantity. Mild citrus notes, smells like Citra I guess.
The taste offers a rather non descript hoppiness. There is a smattering of citrus still going on here. The commercial tug job notion that there are Simcoe and Mosaic hops here seems like one of those fake ass missing context fact checker windows. You damn well know there is some chicanery going on. Here, it seems like a very mild quantity of either one that neither one comes out in the aroma or taste. Hid the alcohol well at least.
I dunno, this just wasn't worth the price of admission. The streak lives on.
I think they've changed the name on this one because of rookie mistake intellectual property issues.

Unbelievable citra flavor in a DIPA! Debatably better than Lead Dog’s Citra Sola: the beer that brought me back to beer.

The beer looks and smells great. It feels a and taste good too. The look and smell are better than what the beer taste.... at least to me. It’s not a bad beer... not at all.

Pours very hazy dark golden color with a very thin head. Aroma- grapefruit, lemon, pine. Taste- grapefruit, lemon, mango, pineapple. Fairly bitter backbone to this. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth, a little thin and tingly for the style. Overall- this is pretty close to what it should be but just missing a few of the key profiles of the New England beers. Solid though.

Straw and slightly cloudy, with soda like carbonation and no head.
It smells like NEIPA. Very fruity, with a moderate dankness. Slightly floral.
The taste is of an amazing dankness, Balanced with an amazing fruity, tropical fruit and floral nectar qualities.
Very light body for the ABV, with little carbonation.
I got this in Redding April 24th, 2019 and I’m drinking it here at home.

The beer pours out a full on hazy golden yellow color, with 1 finger of white head------------------ the aromas are of new england yeast, orange, pineapple, juicy fruit, mango, guava and floral notes(huge aroma)----------------- the flavors are of sweet pineapple, orange sherbet, mango, bubblegum and peach, the beer has a full mouthfeel with no bitterness at all-------------------- overall this beer is world class - wow!!!!!! These guys are not fucking around this is some serious juice coming out of reno--

Pours a murky lemon yellow color with frothy white head leaving minimal lacing. Nose is all citrusy fruit with faint tropical notes. Taste follows with more juicy flavors and the faintest hint of malt and yeast. Easy drinker with a dry finish.Cool can art.
