This was my first rye beer that I have tried, and I can now say that I love this style of beer. Looked great in the glass and had a nice foamy and stable head. Not too much aroma, could have been the other smells in the restaurant distracting it. Taste was phenomenal. It tasted like sourdough bread with a ton of caraway. It was great. Could definitely drink this in reptition. Another great one from Triumph.

I love me some rye. A beautiful light brown beer. Rye and hops aroma. Smooth and drinkable. Strong rye spiciness that growson the palate after. Smooth and malty. Better than I could have hoped for.

Served as a medium amber colored beer with moderate slightly off-white head.
Smell is minimal, and as much as I tried to find rye or caraway seeds, I could not find them.
Taste was extremely nice with a light refreshing characted that left a firm malt sensation in the mouth.
Good refreshing ending with nice thirst quenching qualities.
Truly an enjoyable beer giving the perfect refreshing taste.

A tasty and enjoyable brew that really delivers a nice drinking experience.
Poured a beautiful deep amber with a thin white head that left lots of lace on my exceptionally clean glass.
Aroma was earthy rye. faint hints of caraway(imagined?) and some floral hop notes.
Taste was seedless rye and some sharp pine and citrus at the tail which became more muted as the brew warmed.
Mouthfeel was a tad thin though still substantial enough to coat the tongue and palate.
Very drinkable and will definitely have this one again.

Triumph- Jewish Rye
On Tap at the New Hope location.
Appearance- dark mahogany brown with a thick tan head. Extreme lacing down the entire glass.
Smell- strong grain, wheat, carrawy seed, rye, earthy dirty hops.
Taste- strong moss-like hops at first quickly followed by a bitter carroway flavor. Slight pretzel flavor detected?!
Mouthfeel- very bitter and unsettled at first but eventually settles into a rye bread flavor with a slight bitter flavor.
Overall- a little rough around the edges at first but it clears up and finishes off nicely. Definitely a unique beer and 1 I'd drink again.

This has a bubbly, off-white head above a medium to deep amber colored liquid. It has a light, somewhat spicy nose. There is a pleasant, light mouthfeel that gives way to a great caraway aftertaste on the finish. It is the combination/contrast of the caraway's sharpness with the sweetness of the malt that really gives it a marvelous taste.

The beer presented was a brilliant amber with a nice white head. It had a wonderfully strong rye aroma. The taste was a real delight. It was truly a feast of rye tastes, aftertastes, and aromas. It promised to give you a deli rye roll in a glass, and it did. This is as close to having bread in a glass as you can get. The feel was medium and oily, the promised sediment wasn't detectable but would have added to the experience. This is a beer I will be glad to see on the board whenever I visit Triumph.

Triumph's Jewish Rye beer displays an amber body with an orange cast beneath a creamy head of off-white that holds quite well and leaves thick dollops of lace about the glass. It smells like Carraway seeds and actually tastes like rye bread backed by sharp, sweet malt! Intense! The Carraway lingers, but never really builds on the palate... although one glass might still be enough! Full of flavor, exotic, and satisfying, this is an absolute "must try" beer. Still, ask your server for a sample if you're not used to bold flavored beers.
