Served as a dark amber colored beer with slightly off white head.
Smell demonstrates nice caramel notes.
Taste is also significant for caramel combined with some sweet fruity malt.
Very refreshing mouthfeel.
Good example of the style. Would be nice to session.

Triumph- New Hope, PA

Dunkel Lager

Appearance- Dark oak brown with a thick creamy head.
Smell- Light roasted coffee hops and malt. Slight earthy/ muddy aroma.
Taste- Toasted malt with a light coffee flavor equally balanced with sugary malt.
Mouthfeel- slighty bitter and dry up front but turning sugary sweet ib the end.

Overall- I thought I was ordering a Dunkelweizen until I took a sip then looked up on the chalk board.
Very good lager, a unique hybrid of flavors. Very enjoyable.
