Frothy and lasting head. It leaves good 3D lace. Cloudy with a light gold color.

Both juicy and earthy aroma. Light malt, fresh hop.

The flavor is more malty with a good creamy touch. The hop is subdued, almost sweet. The body leans rich with a higher carbonation. The finish is hoppy but not bitter. Overall, I get a very easy to drink, well-blended IPA.

From the bottom of the can: "02/27/18"

Appearance: This beer has a ton of carbonation which is visible from the get-go. The body is this opaque beige but there is an upside down shower of bubbles. The head is large and rocky which leaves a spiderweb of lacing on the glass.

Aroma: Even while pouring the beer from the can it just shoots out this fresh hop aroma. From the glass there is this really deep and earthy moss aroma mixed with mango, tangerine, and a faint copper scent. It has a very fresh hop presence which is refreshing.

Taste: It has an interesting flavor profile. It's a bit like peach with a bit of alcohol. There is a bit of grain but it only really shows up in the first sip or two. Each subsequent sip adds more of that peach character. There is a bit of a mango juice flavor to the beer as well. It has a very tropical vibe to it.

Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is very light with no real bitterness at all. On the tongue it feels a bit over-carbonated. The sip feels a bit thick but it finishes clean.

Overall: It is a beer that has great aroma and flavor but it doesn't quite feel complete. It feels like it could do with a little less carbonation and a little more bitterness. If you enjoy a light, fruity, American IPA that is made without any fruit, then overall I would recommend this beer. If you enjoy something a little more bitter then I would tell you to hold off. I would drink it again based on this can.

16oz can, served in a snifter glass. Pours a cloudy and hazy darker golden yellow body, two finger white head, fair retention, maybe a bit more than I'd like, but it does result in lots of lacing. Smell is fairly standard grapefruit and lemon, a bit of orange zest, caramel and a bit of resin. Nothing too crazy. Flavour is a nice, smooth juicy grapefruit bite along with a bit of citrus zest, light caramel, touch of bread and a mild grassy bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium lighter bodied, good carbonation, smooth and not particularly difficult on the palate.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on April 2, 2018. Triple dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. Notes of citrus, tropical fruit, pine and dank hops. Very good.

Lots of head and lacing -- slightly cloudy but still some clearness to it too. Nose is piney and fruity, tastes very crushable notes of tropical mixed with a little dank taste, goes down easy with slightly more carbonation than expected.

give my wife so much grief about shopping but I’m such a hypocrite. If it’s something I love–beer, camping gear, sports stuff, etc., I’m in. One in awhile I take a flyer on a beer I’ve never heard of–cool can, style of the month, another tick, blah blah... this hunch paid-off in spades. Dank, juicy, piney, hazy IPA goodness. It’s like the perfect pair of panties... or whatever the hell she goes shopping for.

Osprey’s Fresh Catch - Horus
TDH IPA - 7% abv
Canned 2/27/18 (30 days ago)
Purchased for $5.79 at Growlers to Go, Richmond, VA

L - massive, fluffy white head atop a pale yellow body.

S - citrus, pine, dankness.

T - follows the nose. Mild citrus, mild dankness. Smooth middle. Some tropical flavors backed by a wallop of pine.

F - medium body and carb.

O - very well balanced, but was expecting a more pronounced dry hop impact given the almost $6 a can price.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an orange-yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Excellent lacing.

S: An incredibly enticing aroma of hops, tropical fruit, citrus, malt, and pine.

T: Tasted of a moderate amount of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), light pine notes, a hint of malt (not overly noticeable), tons of tropical fruit (pineapple, mango, passion fruit), and a lot of hops as well. One of the more vibrant, juicy, likable flavors I've tried recently. Not quite a New England IPA, but still very vibrant and tasty.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is one of the most interesting and impressive IPAs I've had lately. Very much drinkable.

Pours a medium orange gold color with a foamy 2 finger head.

Aroma is sharp with rich pineapple and mango notes with a earthy back-scent to it and a little lemon too.

Taste is very hoppy and punchy with a some tanginess. Malt is low and bitterness is low to moderate.

Feel is somewhat soft.

This is a great NEIPA full of flavor to the max. A little more tangy than I prefer but still very well done.

I'm not sure what I'm more mad about, the fact that this is a $20 4pack, or that it's so effing good I want to buy multiple 4packs. How IPAs should all taste
