poured into a tulip glass via bottle

color is a nice roasty brown with tan foam

smell is buttery hazelnuts with a hint of coconut and milk chocolate

taste is creamy hazelnuts and fudge, faint coconut on the backend, little to no alcohol burn

carbonation is very low

mouthfeel is full and creamy

compared to Coconut Crown, this is definitely more complex as the hazelnuts add some solid depth. Do i like this more..yes..but not by a lot..both are fantastic!

Mild black with a fittingly hazelnut tannish-red head head to go with the ingredients. If nothing else, the labels alone give them a bump in appearance.

Thick and sweet but toasty, hazelnut wafer pairs with savory semi-bitter cacao in the semi-sticky finish.

Received in a trade and shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark brown almost black with a thin mocha head that fades to leave light wisps, great legs.

S - Big aromas of candied hazelnuts, just enormous nutty hazelnuts. Raw coconut, toasted coconut. Phenomenal, impressive amount of hazelnut and coconut.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with loads of bitter coffee and chocolate. Tons of hazelnut richness, . Loads of coconut here, almost like a mounds bar with hazelnut. Incredibly rich with an almost acrid bitter finish.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, creamy, smooth beer. The alcohol is very nicely hidden.

O - Overall this was a really really good stout. The hazelnut and coconut are just great here. Really really well done.

Thanks to rudzud
Pours a black foamy thick but smaller head with medium retention, fair lacing, long thick legs, pitch black

Nose loads of coconut and hazelnuts, then more coconut and hazelnuts, sweet brown sugar candied hazelnuts, little marshmallow burnt sugar, very light roasty stout, very good but very little actual beer

Taste is pretty much the same, loads of coconut and hazelnut, but more beer stout like, light roasty cocoa and light coffee, char, bitter tannin, fair fresh coconut and mild nutty hazelnut, almond notes, into dark chocolate, sweet brown sugar candy, fair bitter tannin lingering, sweet sugar lingering and tannin roast

Mouth is fuller bod, rich chewy but fair hot alcohol late, medium really carb

Overall pretty nice, fair alcohol little boozy, good base stout on the taste, great coconut and hazelnut, but nose was all coconut hazelnut and no beer, but still very good
