Beautifully polished APA. Super broad hop profile, lots of sweet berry fruitiness that's balanced with a tensile bitterness throughout. Fresh, clean, dry, delicious. [4/23/18 can into Becher glass]

From a 16 oz. can that with a canning date of 06/05/19. Sampled July 28, 2019.

This has an opaque, murky, muddy looking juicy yellow appearance with a tremendous and slowly fading frothy white head. A little too carbonated.

The aroma is downplayed. I pick up some some floral and pine notes and a white bread note. But also a hint of apricot.

Light to medium body.

It has a fairly bright zesty sweetness in the taste but the hops are fading on this can. The initial sweetness becomes a mild to moderate, lingering bitter end.

Pint can canned on 6/5/18 opened on 7/14/18

A light haze to the straw golden color, lively with a robust, white bubbly foam. Keeps good coverage with a tiny bit of lace.

Pretty much saturated with various dry-hopped style aromatics. Zesty wheat and herbs, wild flowers, sweet fruits, like pineapple, kiwi and zesty red grapes.

Light to medium bodied, zesty feel and slightly dry. Classic pale texture.

The hop combo is pretty interesting and complex for an APA. Well done.

16oz can dated 6/5/18.

Pours cloudy gold with a short-lived head of white and minimal retention. Lightly hoppy in the nose with hints of pithy citrus. Light to medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Citrus zest with a drying bitterness on the palate. Hints of grapefruit and melon. Finishes with zero malt and very dry.

Not bad but lightly hopped and not very memorable.

A: The beer is quite hazy yellow in color. It poured with a finger high white head that died down but consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Light aromas of stone fruit and pineapple are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has some additional hints of grassy and piney hops along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and faintly smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This APA goes down very easily and has an unusually smooth mouthfeel.

L: Opaque yellow with a soapy white head. Solid retention and rings of lacing.

S: Lemonade powder, pineapple, white peach, grass, cracker.

T: Peach, lemon, pineapple. White cracker with a hint of grass. Slightly chalky finish.

F: Medium, well carbonated, crisp, mostly clean, and lightly dry.

O: A solid NEPA.

Canned 4/23/18

So clean and easy-drinking, this one highlights notes of wild berries along with a lightly bitter, piney finish. Simple but with some subtle complexities in the hop profile. A refreshing and pretty sessionable brew.

Canned on date of 4/23/18 on the bottom of the can, 7 days old. They also give it a best by of 2 months, but don't wait that long.

Pours an opaque pale yellow in the glass with a finger of fluffy white head. Nose starts off with a spicy grassiness and gives way to yellow grapefruit, pear, over-ripened guava and a toasted cracker malt. Taste follows the nose and is strong on the black pepper note, focusing on the pepper/toasted cracker/grapefruit combo. Mouthfeel is medium with the tartness of a yellow grapefruit. Fruity/Yeasty aftertaste. For a 5.5% pale, one week in the can, I was expecting a lot more from this one. A yeasty toasted cracker pale with a focus on black pepper and grapefruit, you really have to work hard to pull out the other flavors.

Pint can, a few days short of its Best By date. Interesting that their printed label on the bottom of the can says "Must Keep Cold". I have no idea if that has been done or not. Look is a cloudy pineapple juice with some slightly lacy head that settles to a film. Smell is a nice pineapple and some pine. Taste like the smell, a slightly bitter pineapple, a little piney, a little bit of pale malts. Feel is very good, juicy with some prickly bitterness. Overall, this is a very good beer, a tasty hop profile (if you like pineapple) with very good aroma and mouthfeel.
