Pours a light foamy bubbly head with lower retention, a bit of lacing, hazy golden color

Nose plenty of tart sour funk, lemony grassy farmhouse funk, with plenty of bacteria souring, some buttery oak behind that, as well as some juicy stone fruit, a little peachy and apricot like blend, bready doughy malt and yeast notes, and in the background a little fleshy blueberry

Taste brings plenty more sour, lots of souring bacteria and a mix likely, also some farmhouse grassy hay like funk, a little bready doughy and creamy wheat like, and creamy lacto but souring funky pedio as well, not a big cheesy or Brett like funk though although it starts to come later, a little lemony tartness as well as mild stone fruit, a touch of blueberry but not much, mostly fleshy like blueberry not the juicy berry, light buttery oak, a little sour flemmy like finish, fair acidity

Mouth is med bod, a bit of bright acidity, tart flemmy like finish, medium carb

Overall not bad, good base sour, nice oak, good funk and sourness, nice lemony and stone fruit, but not much blueberry unfortunately, if it had more blueberry it would be very high

On-tap @ Tørst in New York, NY.

Light amber in color and cloudy. Average-sized white head with good retention.

Subtle yet complex aroma. Wheat malt together with some peach, berry, and coriander. A little funky from the yeast, a little oaky from the barrel.

Mild blueberry flavor. Light and smooth. Definitely pick up some oak from the barrel. Very tart in the finish.

I ordered this on a whim as a recommendation from the bartender and I'm glad I did. I'm a huge fan of Jack's Abby's lagers but this was my first from their sister company, Springdale. An enjoyable beer that was crafted really well. All of the flavors work in harmony here.
