I stopped by here while swinging through The Pass down to Guadalupe Mountain National Park. Cool, open setting near downtown with about twelve taps ready to go. Was deserted at two I. The afternoon on a Wednesday but service was still friendly, with lots of free tastes. Maybe a little pricy for El Paso but reasonable overall.

The IPL I ordered was crisp and dry and stiff in mouthfeel so I would definitely recommend this place, which looks fun if occupied. Beer in the high desert. Cool.

Ample seating with maybe a dozen table and a few stools at the bar below a quite high ceiling but the colors seemed a bit dark for me, but oh well, that's just me. I like to stop in and check out every microbrewery I get close too and this was no exception and I've been here a few times in the early afternoons and every time it seems that I am alone at the bar and today was no exception while drinking a really good strawberry stout. Needless to say I figured out why, this pint of 7.7% ABV stout was $9.00, sticker shock for sure. Seems to be that they are pricing themselves out of business or at least the afternoon business. Maybe the evening crowd in El Paso enjoys paying $9.00 for a pint of local beer but I was kind of insulted. What if I had chosen a beer that wasn't exceptionally good and had to pay $9.00 for that pint. OUCH. Anyway, on today's outing I stopped by 2 local breweries that are not to far apart geographically and one of them had no costumers, other than me, buying $9.00 pints and the other one had 8 costumers, 9 with me, buying $6.00 pints. I first reviewed this establishment on March 2nd, 2017 and my recent visit was on July 3rd, 2021 and I've been back a couple times a year to follow their progress and each time I am put off by their prices. On my recent visit I inquired about trying a taste flight and the bartender told me it was $12.00 for a flight of 4 four ounce beers. So in reality buying a pint saved me $3.00 over the 16 ounces I would have had if I had purchased the flight. Thank you for that.
