I visited Centennial last weekend while in Chicago for my anniversary. It's a pretty solid pub with 36 taps; the selection is well-curated and has beers both local and from further afield. I had the lamb pita and my wife had the pork sandwich; food is quite good!

Warm brick & wood interior is welcoming and atmosphere is chill. Service is really good; staff had great recommendations and attitude.

New beer bar in River North, better than most, second only to Clark St. Ale House around the corner.
Makes a great 1-2 stop, plus Farmhouse is right there too.

Lots of weathered wood and grommeted beams, kind of a midwestern steampunk look.
Bar up front past the vestibule, and a dining room upstairs.

Beer selection was good, lots of seasonals focusing on midwest stuff. Founders Harvest Ale was $12 for some reason.
Had a Dovetail Rauchbier and a Founders Breakfast Stout, both in the $7 range. Noticed Aleman, Noon Whistle, and a lot of Founders stuff. Half Acre was the featured brewery, with an Orin tapping happening the following day.

Service was timely at the bar, and when I started a conversation the bartender was super knowledgeable.

If you've read this far, check out Broken Shaker if you're stuck in River North. Great cocktails and beers.
Centennial doesn't come up in a site search for some reason. 1st review really sounds like the owner.

Very excited about this new place in River North which just opened mid-March. The building itself and especially the decor is awesome. Very well done, LOTS of attention to detail. The food was great too. My wife had the smoked carrot wrapped in phylo dough, really, it was good, really! Vibe of the place and the staff all great. Everyone was happy to be there.

But enough about all that, the beer is what a craft beer bar is all about. 36 offerings on tap, 40 or so more in bottles/cans. I loved the list as it featured many of my favorite breweries. It was definitely Chicago/MI/IN/WI focused, but that is where I live. Its a tap list that I could commit a full day to drinking my way through and enjoy all the pints of the journey. I only rated down from 5 as there could be more super rare offerings. But, they are new. That will surely come.

Will be back, repeatedly, for sure.
