16 oz can into a dimple mug.
L: Pours dark brown with a 1/4" beige head, light carbo, head recedes to edge foam, light random lacing.
S: Light caramel malts, raisins, dates, distant toffee, a hint of cocoa.
T: Bittersweet overripe dark fruits, light cocoa, a light metallic taste, dark bread crust, toasted grains, balanced bittersweet, brown bread returns in the palate, it has a slightly rosy floral backdrop.
F: Smooth medium to med-heavy bodied mouthfeel with a medium long finish.
O: Easy to drink, not really rich tasting overall but has plenty of flavor. Very balanced bittersweet notes. It is very good to excellent.

Appearance: Dark brown, good head.

Smell: Fruity, sweet, bananas?, caramel.

Taste: Balanced start, mild toast and mild fruit flavors. A little more roasted malt along with light toffee. Medium bodied. Finishes with the toffee and roast note.

Overall: An interesting beer, hard to put it in a category. Not sweet, not bitter, not roasty, not earthy. Maybe most reminds me of a brown ale, but not a super flavorful one. Not as strongly flavored as most bocks.

Taste is caramel, chocolate, and roast, some people might call it a heavy toasted but to me it's more of a roast. A little bread/grain. Some what smooth. It has some sweetness, but also has plenty of bitterness. A hint of dry in the finish.
The mouth feel is ok but not the smoothest and slightly thin.

A OK beer but not sweet enough for me to be called a lager bock.
I will give it a 3.84/5
