Egyptian cotton level lushness thanks to double layers of Mosaic and Cashmere.

I am in the minority with my review, and I realize it - but this beer reminds me, more than anything, of fabric softener. It's soft and rich... and tastes soapy. I just can't get that similarity out of my head. It looks nice and smells great... but those cashmere hops just don't work for me.

No canning date
Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10-20% clarity) medium to light golden color with a moderate white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of green papaya, guava and citrus, some lime with a dink and green herbal and pineapple component underneath. (4.25)
Flavor: Strong flavors of citrus and lime, green papaya, pineapple, guava. Some sweet melon and honeydew underneath. Finishes with a green herbal note after end to slightly clean the pallet. Medium bodied decent carbonation finishes balanced mail this week. (4.50)
Feel: Medium-bodied, decent carbonation. Finishes mildly sweet and balanced. (4.25)
Compared to Black Stack Purely Decorative 4/2023: Pours similar, slightly lighter, similar head. More green aromas and stronger. More green flavors of papaya, lime citrus, guava, pineapple. Less juicy tangerine, juicy pineapple, orange, and melon/mango. Slightly more balanced and dryer.
Compared to Hop Butcher All Sides Are Green 6/2023: Pours lighter, clearer, milder head. Stronger aromas. More juicy grapefruit, pineapple, guava, mango. Less tropical berry and orange creamsicle. Less malty, but more juicy and clean.
Compared to BlackStack Early Admission 7/2023: Pours similar. Stronger aromas. More green melon, papaya, lime citrus. Less orange, melon. Juicier and dryer. Winner: Thread Count
Overall: What an excellent NEIPA and see why it has good reviews here. The Mosaic and Cashmere are perfect. Tropical Mosaic balanced with the green lime and papaya flavor from Cashmere. Just a touch herbal. Dynamic flavors and extremely drinkable. Sort of reminds me of their Pocket Dial release, but not quite as green and a touch more balanced. This one is extremely good and I don't think the World-Class rating is wrong. (Rating: 4.31)

Thoroughly, utterly hazed. Brush. Dullish golden hue. Big, gleaming ivory head, leaving lace.
In the nose: Juicy from the jump. Pineapple first, guava, passionfruit, mango. All the tropical stuff. Nary a note of bitterness. Very nice.
In the mouth: Smooth, soft, fruity and fine. I just figured out the name. It's cause comforting as a blanket. At first I was going to connect it to that desired virtue of "pillowy", but pillows don't have thread counts, do they? No....
Back to the beer. Strong. Powerful. (in alcohol) Hoppy. Smooth, light, and dangerously consumable. A little citrus and a bit of the bitter peeks through the yeast and the tropical. I still haven't given myself over to the hazy style. I still drink a beer like this and wish it wasn't. But it's very good.
And as lovely and sweet and delectable as it is, I miss the bitterness I most enjoy in a double IPA. That's just me, though.

Can. White head. Hazy sunset golden orange.
This is a pineapple bomb. Very tropical and juicy. Orange, mango, and papaya. Tons of fruit. Very soft. Great feel.
This is a BS banger.

Very hazy, golden yellow with a pretty thick white head that settled fairly quick.
Smells of pineapple, sweet citrus.
Taste is overripe sweet tropical fruits, could have been better IMO if it had some bitterness to balance the sweetness.
Medium to full body, somewhat syrupy feel. Very silky and smooth though. Boozy finish.
Overall for me this one was a bit sweet for me.

The last can of a four pack…I think someone may have stolen the other three. I’m looking at you on the couch, wife. 16 oz. can. Not shared!
The pour is orange juice with a little lemon juice mixed in to lighten up the color. Holy batman this smells good, like walking through an orchard in the tropics with fifteen different fruit trees, all of which are dropping overripe fruit that burst on your lips. Seriously lovely.
Thread Count: I’d guess around 800. Tastes like it smells. In trying to pick out fruits I spy mango, kiwi, nectarines, citrus, & I could name more, but I’d just be making schtuff up. There’s powdered sugar drizzled over the tenderized fruits, as well as shot right into them (kind of like a juicy lucy, except instead of meat & cheese, it’s fruit & sugar). Bitterness is very mild, & sticks it’s head up just high enough to keep the sweetness from dancing into cloying. Hand-washingly sticky, & drinkable enough that it’s destined to hit the toilet sooner rather than later.
I have two four packs headed to a trading partner. I wonder if it’s too late to turn them around. BlackStack is putting out the best IPAs in Minnesota right now (though I reserve the right to change my mind tomorrow, or in ten minutes). Magnificent beer. Make this again!

Nose of overripe mango and pineapple, sweet. The mouthfeel is soft and silky, very sweet with mango, pineapple and orange. Finish is stick sweet and tropical. This is pretty sweet so if you don't care for sweet IPAs you might want to stay away from this one.
