Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a nonic glass. Has a hazy light golden color. The smell was sort of neutral, basically I could not tell. For a lager, I thought the taste was ok. I have had better lagers, and I have had worse. Overall, I may buy this again but more than likely I will buy their brown ale which I always enjoy.

A little too malty for a lager. Slight hop notes in the taste but not a lot. The smell and taste seem to be mainly barley malt. The body is a bit right if not a tad heavy.

I keep returning to this beer when I know I'm going to be having more than just a round. It's drinkabilty and separation from the hop-ridden microbrews launched ad nauseum, make its fundamentaly sound taste unique! A very very solid beer
