I was in heaven from the second I tasted this beer. I bought as a pick 6 from kroger and my only complaint is that I only picked 1. The best tasting apa I have ever had. Very great tasting my joke is its a bit nutty (69?) For the average non snobby beer fan it is a must.

Pours a mild amber hue with a two finger head into my glass.

Sweet/doughy upfront with some hop bitterness.

Pine bitterness and doughy bread.

Decent piney finish.

Solid for the style. Worth a try at least once.

12 oz brown bottle - not dated

Batch 69 poured a hazy yellow gold producing a generous 2-finger off-white bubbly head that dissipated slowly. The nose is dominated by citrus, some pine and floral hops. Batch 69 tastes like an American IPA. Citrus, grapefruit, orange, pears and some sweetness are present. The IPA is well balanced and easy to drink with only a light bitterness. Not being a hophead I like that. Mouth feel is smooth, with a light- medium body and lively carbonation.

An easy drinking IPA.

Got a draft at a restaurant. Pretty good IPA, but nothing memorable.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/24/2015. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/floral hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/piney hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Had as part of a flight at the brew pub. Straw color, thin head. Aroma of malt, pine, and citrus. Taste is same, with some bitterness, but not harshly so. If not for the ABV, this would be a neat little session ale.

It's beer. I wouldn't call it an award winner though. The first sip is OK, but by the end of the glass, taint all that.
