Cloudy, apricot colored body; dense, creamy head, white and long lasting; sticky, spidery fingers of foam coat the glass. Fresh fruit aroma; orange and apricot. Mildly sweet taste with notes of biscuit and oats; moderate bitterness throughout; a bit of alcohol presence. Heavy body; creamy; a touch of boozy heat.
While I didn't see any dating information, the smell was fresh and the mouthfeel soft and spongy on the palate. The looks are great with the head thick and creamy. The taste comes across balanced and reasonably complex. All in all, a fine, well-rounded hazy double India pale ale.
Pouring temperature: 46 °F; canning data: unavailable

On tap at Hop City, Birmingham
A- pours a hazy murky orange with a one finger foamy white head that has great retention.
S- ripe melon, mango, tangerine, grapefruit zest
T- juicy tropical notes of mango, cantaloupe and pineapple, followed by some zesty tangerine. The finish gives more cantaloupe and citrus zest
M- medium body with moderate carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and finish

Opaque and turbid, as expected. Dark orange color with just a hint of brown. Decent head production and retention; nice lacing.
Very nice hop-forward aroma, primarily tropical but with minor notes of citrus and herbs. Mango, tangerine, papaya, peach, white grape.
Lovely melange of hop-driven flavors on the palate, buoyed by a huge semi-sweet malt base. Tasting notes of papaya, mango, cream, pineapple, tangerine, cantaloupe. Smooth and creamy on the palate; unbelievable drinkability for an IPA nearing double digit ABV.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a murky dark gold with a persistent blocky white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is orange, vanilla, white grape, tangerine, pineapple, and mango. Mouthfeel is quite thick and chewy. Finish is somewhat sweet, but not cloying. Overall, this is a quite drinkable DIPA - a little on the sweet side. YMMV.
