Appearance: Obviously, this pours black with no head or lacing
Smell: Roasted malt and chocolate with a hint of coffee
Taste: Roasted flavors forward with the chocolate and coffee tones developing; modest Bourbon tones but the hops emerge in the finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: The balance here works well from all angles
