Located at the termination point of the Main Street Strip of New City's "downtown" just off NYS Rt 304. The "welcome to" sign is right out front. Down the road from the Rockland County Court, an old art deco style building.

V: 3.5 Pretty average place. Restaurant and bar. Some outdoor space.
Q: 4.25 excellent.
Ser: 4.25 Also excellent. Although there is no online service, you need to call to order beer.
Sel: 4.5 quite diverse. Plenty of Ales and lagers. New beers frequently.
F: 3.75. The Burger Loft. Nice burgers and sandwiches. A few sides to choose from.

Overall, a 4. Certainly a place i will revisit.

 

 

 

Nice brewpub with long bar on right of entry that seats about 15 and a half dozen tables along opposite wall. 12 beers on tap, the one I had was solid. Friendly service; tasty food.

This is more of a brew-pub than a brewery, but the beer they put out is even better than their high-quality burgers. With a wide selection of politically-named beers, helpful bartenders and a willingness to fill anyone's growlers, District 96 is well worth many visits.

 

 

Round 1: So this is a review of the brewery and of Burger Loft, which is where you can drink their beers and eat as well. High-quality, interesting beers. I appreciate that they offer a good variety of beers, not just 10 variations on the theme of IPA. Very popular spot, but it's large enough that we've been always to get a table. Like beer, and you're nearby? Definitely check this place out, it is probably the best "brew pub" in Rockland County.

Round 2: have been back here a few times since my first visit, changing my opinion. In the past they've had stouts, Saisons, a reasonable selection. Now it's various IPAs, and related hoppy stuff. Another words, no selection, so I'll given them a 1 for that. If IPA is your preference it's worth a visit. If you're bored with IPA or never liked it in the first place you might not like this spot.

 

 

 

 

Smaller place, on the other side of the burger joint...brewing equipment and tanks in the rear of the joint.....crowlers/growlers available at the bar as well as pints and half pours.....

Get some tasty food from the restaurant and enjoy quality brew in the bar.....these guys are turning out near world class NE IPA kinda juice bombs right in Rockland county....looking forward to when they start canning, which I hear will be soon...highly worthy spot
