Picked this up a few years ago when I was down in SoCal for the final Tom Petty show ever. Also got a pack of Today.
Pours a hazy yellow color, 1/3" white head. Looks a lot like a screwdriver mixed drink/orange juice. Massive amounts of Citra hops make the beer pop for tangerine, orange, guava and grapefruit.
Taste is much the same way, pretty easy drinking 8% orange citrus flavors. Good light body, flaked stuff isn't all gloop glub haze trub party. Beer orange juice before that stuff became ubiquitous with the advent of Treehouse and others. A little green hop burn but its all good. I don't understand the collaboration part though, I mean, its a single hopped Citra dipa. Doesn't everyone make something like that? What is the point of collaborating on a beer everyone makes? I dunno. Maybe an odd complaint about a beer you really like, but just an industry question I guess.
On the 4 packs, I went back and forth whether I liked this or Today more, this was better the first month, but Today has a better shelf life.

Can poured into snifter.
Looks like grapefruit juice. Cloudy, full haze yellow. Thin whispy cap and collar.
Aroma is big juicy hops, citrus, orange juice and some tropical fruits. Bit of earthy pine scents in the background.
Flavor is juicy orange, some bitter grapefruit, melon, tropical fruit.
Moderate carbonation and medium body.
As juicy as can be and as hazy as could be. Goes full on into the N.E. wave.

Ten Years pours like coolant that was left in the radiator for ten years...murky. White washed murky yellow with a frothy and rocky white cap. It's sticky too. All over the glass.
Whipped orange juice, melon, lemon, lime, dough and yeast, and subtle vanilla fill the air. Vanilla too, if you'd believe me, and minor traces of alcohol.
Again, I can't help but be reminded of Orange Bang. The flavor is encapsulated by it, and that's the only way I can describe the sweetness I get. But it's not all sweet fruits and malts. There is some earthy, spicy bitter notes, and that mild alcohol shows itself again.
It feels soft, smooth, and creamy. A prickly feeling comes quickly after each sip. A mild burn of alcohol, and then a dry, somewhat dirty finish.
Ten Years might be the best Offshoot DIPA I've had yet. HPB must be credited as well, but this is clearly a big step in the right direction. Cheers, and thanks Jay!

Poured 16oz can into snifter. It is a murky golden yellow with a 1.5 finger white head. Retention is pretty good and there are swaths of lacing all over the glass. Smell is big on fresh scents of orange juicy hops. Plenty of mango, pineapple, and grapefruit. Some nice sweet honey and bread malt to balance it out. Citra hops dominate the flavor. Rich tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple. Light bready malts show up with some mild alcohol warmth on the finish. A slight pine and grapefruit bitter finish. Full mouthfeel with excellent carbonation. Very sticky and intense hoppiness! This was a nice surprise sent to me by twobeerdogs.

Cloudy, smoothie-style light yellow with a grayish-orange hue and a finger of off-white head that's fairly quick to dissipate before leaving modest, soapy lacing.
Big aroma of melon, pine and herbal spice.
Smooth melon, citrus and pine up front in the taste with a hint of doughy malt mid-palate and a nice orange juice sweetness competing with some piney bitterness on the backend. Much less of the herbal from the nose.
Thick, almost pulpy feel with little carbonation and slight slickness to it.
Fun beer. It's not breaking any ground, but this is still a pretty tasty new school DIPA right here.
