A good "winter lager effort from a brewery "up the hill" from Colorado Springs that will allegedly be out of business soon. The ABV is is a a guess, could find it on the label...

More amber than red in color, and a keeps a fine 1/3" head with adequate lacing all the way down my imperial pint glass.

Smells: Slight spiciness with maltiness shining through

Taste: Big malty presence that make me think off barley wine or bocks first (a bonus in my mind). A taste of treacle and hops washes over the throat.

Mouth feel; Great balance and carbonation levels.

A good solid effort, If this brewery goes under. I can only assume distribuiton did themin, because all of there beer have been up to speed.
