West Coast-Style Double IPA
Strata, Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic hops create waves of hop flavor and perhaps abit of a smackdown over a lightly sweet malt backbone.

Can poured into a Revision Brewing Co Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours rich golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and laces very nicely.
S: Pine and zesty citrus, tropical and stone fruit, light floral notes, biscuity bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical and stone fruit, mango, peach, apricot, passion fruit, and faint pineapple, pine, citrus, tangerine, lemon, and a little grapefruit, floral, a hint of bubble gum, subtle herbal notes, biscuity bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: Just a bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Super easy drinking West Coast DIPA. Jeremy showing off what he does as good as anybody.

Solid DIPA as expected (becoming a big fan of Revision). Hoppy, resiny, and dank. 9%abv is well-hidden, IMHO, which could be dangerous as it's smooth and very drinkable!

Bottled 2/8/19; consumed on 3/30/19. Poured from a 22oz bomber into a wine goblet.
Not quite clear amber body; 1 finger of off-white soft peaks; soapy lacing; very good retention.
Floral aromatics with a hint of honey and citrus.
Sweet palate entry with orange, cotton candy, and low scallion notes. Moderate bitterness picks up mid-palate with more grapefruit and tangelo pith notes and a hint of pine. Medium-dry, bold finish with some grain flavor.
Chewy, medium-bodied, well carbonated, warming but not hot.
Aggressive but not abrasive example of the style.

man this is great, the only west coast clear ipa i had while i was in here, they had plenty, but i was in the mood for some haze, which they absolutely are slaying right now. its cool they do this as well as they do too, really have the full ipa spectrum on lock in here, super impressive. this one has a light amber color to it, some crystal malt evident, beautiful clarity and shine, and a lot of head and carbonation from the tap. a very oily pine tree sort of hop profile, smells botanical and like christmas, with a little bitter citrus rind and pith to it as well, but some cool nuance behind the high alpha hops, including things like vanilla and toffee, which dont make the beer sweet at all, but add some really cool depth, who says there is no room for malt flavor in hoppy beer anymore?! smooth fuller body, lots and lots of linger from the slickness and resinous nature of the hops, i have it on my palate for awhile after i swallow each time. hugely hoppy, drinkable though, no trace of its strength, and seriously one of the better imperial type ipas i have had all year. just awesome beer, these guys are killing it with the hops! i could drink way more of this than i should be able to for what it is, a lovely brew overall!

A: Pours a clear medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate golden yellow + amber colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of overripe tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, tropical/pineapple, citrus/tangerine, and pine/resin hops over the top of moderate aromas of caramel + biscuit + toasted malts with moderate amounts of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of caramel + biscuit + toasted malts with moderate amounts of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of overripe tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, tropical/pineapple, citrus/tangerine, and pine/resin hops which impart a just shy of moderate amount of bitterness which lingers and a hint of booziness.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of alcohol warming in the finish.
O: Drinks fairly easily considering the strength - this is a big sweet boozy DIPA. Alcohol is not overly well hidden. Enjoyable .

I've been itching to try Revision's beers since I first heard that Revision had broken off from Knee Deep Brewing. Finally found 2 bottles of this DIPA at BevMo 2 days ago. This DIPA was bottled on 11/21/2017; ABV 9%. One thing I frickin' hate about BevMo is that it never refrigerates its better beers, and in this case, some of this DIPA's freshness was lost from sitting on a warm shelf for 4 months.
Nevertheless, this DIPA is very good, although not nearly as good as Knee Deep's Simtra or Hop Trio. This DIPA pours a slightly hazy orange with 1/2 finger of ecru foam. Moderate carbonation. Smell is a generous dose of dank, pine, mango and tropical fruits. Taste is pretty much the same with a generous blast of bitter hops from the beginning through to the end, balanced by a mild malt backbone.
Very good DIPA. Keep up the good work, Revision.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Light amber body with thin beige head. Aroma features the malts, caramel and toffee, brown bread. Taste too is malty, caramel and butterscotch. Minor hop bitterness dries it out towards the finish. Super smooth considering the ABV.

Bottled on my birfday 10/18/17.Pours into an oversized wine glass a rich orange infused golden with a sticky half finger head atop.Over ripe tropical fruits and pine stand out in the nose over top of sugary sweetness and caramel, smells like a beast.Tangerine and mango hop fruitiness up front on the palate with caramel/biscuit chewy malts underneath,as I drink more I get more alcohol wich lends more sweetness. It's a big sweet DIPA wich there are alot of out there.
