Notes / Commercial Description:
This sweet siren song of hoppy nectar will beckon you. Heaps of Amarillo, Mosaic and Simcoe hops provide a tantalizing mix of ripe citrus and fresh pine notes. Be forewarned! Drinking too deeply can sneak up on you like the siren’s rocks to a sailor’s ship, smacking you right upside your face when you least expect it.

Draft at PreFunk. Bright orange golden. Small ring of bubbly head. Hoppy aroma, some orange peel. Taste turns up the hops, light astringency, some if the malts. A return to the hop bomb for Revision after killing it in the NEIPA style.

Pours a clear darkish gold straw color with huge white head and lacing to the top of the glass. Nose is fairly mild, fruity and piney. Taste follows with a bit of bitterness and alcohol creep. Goes down smooth as can be,definitely on the dry side, abv is disguised well.Be careful with this one.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin head covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some bits of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of mangos, oranges, and pine are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except there are additional hints of floral hops and the pine lingers in to the finish. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and quite crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The piney hops lend a bit of prickliness.
O: This beer definitely tastes strong, but much closer to something that is 9% abv compared to 11.5% abv as it hides a good portion of the alcohol from the taste.

Light caramel in color. Great hop aroma and flavor especially for a beer with such a high ABV. A lot of citrus notes. Body is heavy but that should be expected for such a strong beer. Nice balance between the sweetness of the beer and hop bitterness and flavor. One bottle definitely will make you feel a little drunk.

Ultra clear gold body with a large fluffy white head. Smell is sort of dark and musty, dank, piney, and grapefruity. Taste follows tbe nose with but with tons of pine resin and a touch of grapefruit pith. Mouthfeel is definitely resinous and syrupy, slight tickle of carbonation, and very dry finish. This brew hits some unique fruity notes that Dr. Lupulin doesn’t. A fair triple IPA

Bottling date 12/11/17

Appearance - Pours crystal clear and pure gold in color with an off-white, two-finger width head. Decent retention before dying down to a mostly barren surface and a fair ring around the edge of the glass.A small handful of spots make up the lacing.

Smell - Citrus, mostly grapefruit, with pine character and a light, boozy burn left in the nostrils.

Taste - Grapefruit upfront with a touch of pineapple zing. Light caramel malt undertone. Strong pine character kicks in mid-taste and rides strong into the finish. Aftertaste is dank and resinous with lesser citrus pith bitterness and a hint of booze.

Mouthfeel - Full-bodied with low, tingly carbonation. Thick, almost syrupy texture but without much stickiness, and a bone dry finish. Not the easiest drinker out there.

Overall - Expertly crafted and a hell of an imposing 3x IPA, though I greatly prefer their Dr Lupulin offering to this. This baby just has way too much residual pine flavor for my taste buds. I'd say this is the triple equivalent to their double, What What.
