Hovering in the air like aromatic alien spacecraft emissions, the smell of tasty hops hits the nose first, then moves to the brain with sensory input. Inhaling with your nose in a glass of this brew is like a hot box of odiferous delight. Ripe orange, tangerine, mango and a pinch of pine aromas brought to you by Mosaic, Motueka, Galaxy, and the artist formerly known as Equinox.

Pours a murky yellow/light gold with medium to low carbonation. Lots of good foam and lacing with the aroma hitting you as your pour. Aroma is of fruit/melon/citrus, maybe a little hoppy/dank thing going on. Taste is much the same with a hint of grainy malt and yeast esters. Some cat pee aroma and flavor became evident as the beer warmed a little but just enough to keep life interesting. Very solid and drinkable.

I’m in NC and we’ve begun getting seasonal limited rotations from Revision. Yesterday I bought a $16.99 4xpack of this gem, went back today and sold out. If you love a hoppy, citrus, hazy NE Style IPA spend the money, in fact buy two. Yum.

Canned 07/18/18
Appearance - Pours hazy and slightly faded orange in color with an off-white, half finger head. Not much retention before giving way to a mostly barren surface with a thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. No lacing.
Smell - Aroma hits on juicy notes of white grapefruit, melon, pineapple and a touch of orange.
Taste - Muted mango upfront before some sharper citrus (white grapefruit, orange) and pineapple bite emerge.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a very dry, slightly caustic finish.
Overall - Pretty tasty hazy, but I've noticed for some time now that many of Revision's hazy offerings have some yeast sediment at the bottom of their cans that pack a real wicked acrid/bitter punch, especially in the finish, so pour carefully if don't like that characteristic.

Light golden and hazy beer with a foamy white head that leaves a big band of lacing. Smells bright and dank with acidic citrus notes and weedy hop notes. Lots of carbonation and a medium mouthfeel. The taste is clean and dank with a light sweetness, lots of orange and some bright lemony notes with some faint caramel flavors from the malt. Nice bitter pith and pine finish with a dank and weedy aftertaste. Another great hazy from Revision.

A: Pours a murky medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate straw yellow + lemon yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/pineapple, tropical/mango, tropical/guava, citrus/orange zest, and tropical/passionfruit hops as well as strong aromas of dank resinous hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel + oat malts with a moderate amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel + oat malts with a moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/pineapple, tropical/mango, tropical/guava, citrus/orange zest, and tropical/passionfruit hops as well as moderate flavors of dank resinous hops. The hops impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving tropical, citrus, and dank hops flavors lingering.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a light amount of softness/fluffiness mid-body and a light to moderate amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a really pleasant mouthfeel with just enough softness/fluffiness. Very enjoyable and I could easily have a few of these with the mouthfeel and limited bitterness.
