Pours hazy, orange gold in color with one inch head. Taste is cantaloupe and grapefruit. Heavy bodied, bitter, with moderate carbonation. Bad Sons ranges from good to just about average with most of their beers. I want to like them more. This one is just above average. It is a big, heavy, bitter beast. A total sipper, but it appears more muddled than some of their other beers. Not bad, but a pass in the future for me.

This was in the bargain bin at the local Georgetown beer outlet. I'm pleasantly surprised to get this for the 6/$10 mixed pack. I agree with the other reviews generally, much better than the orange imperial. i was apprehensive after being disappointed by the orange citrus imperial previously reviewed.

Poured from a pint can into an IPA style glass. Nice full off white head with good lacing. Body of the beer is apricot in color, semi-opaque. Some fruitiness on the nose. First sip has some grapefruit citrus taste, followed quickly by significant hops bitterness. The 9% abv is well hidden in the textures of the beer. Not my fav from this brewery, but still quite good.

Cracked can and awesomeness sprung out. Just that right mix of hop and a bit of fruit. For me, NEIPAs have run their course and drawn the line too far; this is that right in the middle mix. Can't wait to see where this brewery is in a year or two. Well done.
