Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned 1/2/18. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a 2 plus inch sticky white head that leaves thin wisps of lace behind.

Smell is tropical front to back guava, papaya, apricot, tangerine, and grapefruit rind.

Taste follows a ton of guava, papaya, apricot, pineapple, tangerine, and a healthy dose of grapefruit lingers on the tongue long after each sip.

Mouthfeel is a big medium, perfect amount of life, not dry but a little sticky from all the fresh hops, and at 8% ABV goes down very easy.

Overall this is a treat, I would put this in the realm of the big shots from Vermont and Massachusetts. Top tier in my opinion.

16 oz can poured into tulip glass canned on 6/26

A: tiny bubbled white head that takes a few minutes to settle. Body is a hazy orange amber color.

S: Mango, pineapple, cantaloupe, a little over ripe rotted fruit smell.

T: Lots of the ripe honeydew, cantaloupe, mango flavors with a light bit of pineapple. Also a little bit of a perfumey berry flavor finish with a little bitterness.

M: Lighter to medium body decent carbonation.

O: This is a solid beer, but I'm getting tired of this profile almost every brewery has this beer now it's Epiphany, Swish, Kash Money, Todd the Axeman, 90% of Trillium's beers. Not that this a bad beer by any stretch, but it is being done to death.

Bottle: Poured a hazy amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of juicy citrus notes with nice floral undertones is quite pleasant. Taste is a great mix of juicy citrusy notes with nice floral undertones with light residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. This is a very enjoyable beer with gets closer to orange juice territory.

It was canned 6/5/17 and has an ABV of 8.0%.
It is a hazy gold color with a good-sized white head. There is a bit of lace.
Mostly pine aroma, a little citrus. There is a sweet malt background.
The taste follows the nose. Mostly pine, a little grapefruit. Caramel.
Medium-bodied.
I've had Kineo, their IPA and enjoyed it immensely. This is a good beer, just not quite as good as Kineo.

16 oz can dated 6/23/17

Pours a hazy yellow gold color with a 2 finger head that bubbles out to a lumpy half finger. Nice lacing

Aroma is bright and fresh with tones of peach and pine and sugar

Taste is not far off... someone below mentioned bubble gum and there are definite notes in it, but not any way detracting from the beer. The peach flavor is subtle but pulls it away from any notion that there are tropicals going on. A little bit of malt in the mid-taste that gets stronger as the beer mellows in the glass. Also a moderate bitterness that lingers to the end. Most of the flavor is up front but some of it lingers in the aftertaste.

Feel is clean, not sticky due to the low malt content. Not much effervescence either. Not much alcohol burn at all - easy to forget it is a double.

I like what has come out of BSB as a new brewery. This is a great flavor profile that I feel gets a little stepped on by the malt. If this hop flavor were put behind a cloudy NEIPA with a soft feel and less malt coming through it would be superior. The bubble gum peach expression is superior.

Canned 08/07/2017.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a sturdy hazy built orange color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off pretty slow to yield a semi-messy lace roaming all about. Lace looked good - somewhat clingy yet messy and showing a good coating all around.
The aroma had a nice graceful indulgent sweet to danky onion to pine and tropical mesh. Seemed to really follow through on the pine and onion mostly, which was quite good.
The flavor proceeded with the sweet and danky onion and pine. Subsequent tropical sweetness seemed to play with a sly sweet maltiness. Aftertaste pops with a blend of a juicy bitter citrus to piney melding.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation seemed to prickle a little bit, but wasn't bothersome. Also, the bitter harshness seemed to kick in a bit more than expected - to me this wasn't bothersome, just noticeable.
Overall, I'd say this was a very nicely done DIPA - New England IPA? Maybe, but with a bit more carbonation and some bitterness riding through in the feel. Still, it's definitely one to want again.

8/11/18...pours bright gold, and with white foam. Citrus nose, and citrus backed flavors,. The mouthfeel is on the thicker side, and you chew through the juicy and fruit filled malt flavors. Very good.
