On-tap 3/2/2017 at the brewpub in Myrtle Beach, SC served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep golden brown color, with a medium off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, some Belgian yeast, some hops and some fruit.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel, spices and some fruit. Then a strong breadiness comes in from a hearty malt character and some Belgian yeast. The hops presence is decent for the style but there isn’t much balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and not very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and slightly sticky.
O: Not very tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, decent kick, decent representation of style, this is a just a mediocre beer at best.
