16oz can, undated, poured into a 14oz snifter glass.

The beer pours a lightly hazy golden color, apricot and honey hues with a fizzy white head, about a finger tall that has moderate retention and yields excellent swatches of soapy lace. The aroma is pleasant, light citrus, strong grassy and dank mosaic hops, a bit of tropical punch and a floral bouquet leads to sweet doughy grain and yeast. The flavors are very good, very strong citrus juice character, lots of orange and even a bit of lime zest with a strong green hop bite, raw hop leaf, dank and weedy with a nice floral bouquet, a bit of hop resin and spice that brings out a bit of tropical character and finishes with a soft doughy backbone with sweet yeast and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, crisp and lively medium body and finishes with a lightly dry and crisp bite.

Verdict: A nice IPA from Saint Errant. It has a nicely balanced array of flavors that really showcase the mosaic hops while still offering some juicy citrus and a nice lively brightness.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 750 mL bottle on December 31, 2017. Unappealing color with a thin head and a ton of floating debris. Smell and taste is off. Feel is light in body.

Bottled 11/10/17; drank 12/10/17 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull red/orange rust appearance.

A violent pour yielded a big white head; frothy lace.

Peach, bubblegum & mild dry grass notes in the nose.

Sticky medium mouthfeel.

Grapefruit & sticky caramel flavors up front; chardonnay & mild dry grass notes on the finish.

Cloying & mildly unpleasant; this is a bad Frankenstein monster NE IPA that does almost everything wrong.

Had on tap at the Beer Temple. Kegged 28 days earlier.
Very refreshing after playing tennis. Looks are an inviting orange. Smells are mostly about the mosaic tropical fruitiness. Clear malt backbone, but doesn't produce in-your-face alcohol. The fruit oddly lingers, but OK for the occasion.
I am not a big fan of the style, but I'd have this again if I needed refreshment.

Dull shade of brown with an orange highlight in the light. Sticky lace collar.
Aroma is a little muted but some lightly sweet fruit is there, maybe jackfruit.
Sweet and lightly bitter flavor, lingering fruity aftertaste. Tangerine mango.
Medium bodied, a little sticky from the sweetness, but fairly drinkable.
This was alright but not as great as most other Saint Errant beers.
The dark brown shade can be a sign of oxidation during packaging, but it’s hard to say based on the taste/aroma.

750ml bottle, served in a snifter glass.

Pours a darker but hazy orange-copper body, one finger thick white head, tons of lacing with good retention. Looks too dark but I'm OK with it. Smell is heavy on the mosaic- tropical fruit, tapioca-like sweetness, a bit of resin, followed with a bit of pulpy grapefruit and floral notes. Generally, this beer expresses a lot of sweet hop aromatics, primarily mosaic it would seem, with an appropriate caramel and sugar sweetness on the palate to back things up. As a whole this beer is on the sweeter side, with the Mosaic contributing most of the hop character and the El Dorado giving a bit more floral bitterness on the backend. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy with nice carbonation, not too crisp or too soft. On the sweeter side, with a fair bit of balance but it should be noted that the hop aromatics and the malt backbone seem to synergistically make the experience seem sweet but without it being undrinkable or syrupy.
