Yes. 5s all round. When a beer drinker gets diagnosed as gluten intolerant it's a rather large downer. Condemned to drink wine, spirits and cider for ever. This beer is a godsend. Love it.

A pale lager brewed for the Mediterranean palate. More of a thirst quencher than a sipper, it’s a decent lager and better than any North American mass market lager. Refreshing...

A 330ml bottle from Lanzarote. Pours a light golden colour with medium carbonation and a small white head. Aromas of malt, citrus, bread & herbs. Tastes of citrus, sweet malt, herbs, bread & grain leading to a medium sweet malt bitter finish. Overall a fairly decent beer, and the best gluten free one I've tried.

Pours out straw yellow with a frothy two finger white head. The head retention is excellent, as it keeps a half finger head and sticks all over the glass through out the life of the beer. Plenty of carbonation bubbles rush to the top of the lager.

The aroma is pretty typical for a Euro Pale Lager. Light grassy hop mixed with a slightly sweet malt. Nothing bad but nothing that stands out either.

The taste is a bit more hopped than the average Euro Pale. Some mild hints of citrus, mixed with light malt sweetness. Even a small hint of honey, but very mild. Very clean finish.

Light and carbonated body and very easy to drink.

I gotta say I enjoyed this Euro Pale Lager because the hop character stood out more than other brands.

I was so elated when I saw this Damm beer in the big box o' beer that my local, in-person trader, tone77, dropped off that I thought to myself, "Hot Damm, I am anxious to try that beer, Damm it!"

The finger of rocky, fluffy, bone-white head looked like meringue atop the beer as it slowly fell like a souffle. Color was a pale lemon-yellow with NE-plus quality clarity. Nose was redolent with Saaz hops, not skunk as one previous reviewer misidentified it. It had a really nice grassiness to it without being ruined with adjuncts and believe me, I am able to spot the difference at this point! Mouthfeel was soft, lightly carbonated with a grassy, slightly metallic taste on the tongue. Finish was semi-dry and definitely lager-like in its mild unobtrusiveness. I will not say that it was the best example of the style that I have ever tried, but its gluten-free status makes it highly recommendable to anyone that has that as a concern. It was decent, but it could be good under the right circumstances.

Appearance: Pours a translucent, light yellow body with a white foam film.

Smell: A light sniff of cereal maltiness with a thin hint of floral, spicy hops.

Taste: A base of modest, malted barley with a dash of confectioners sugar. Moderate acidity. Hint of graininess. Mild hop character, bitterness. Drying, smooth, clean finish.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Moderate carbonation.

Overall: Among the gluten-free beers it truly shines, as I've never enjoyed the use of repellent sorghum.

Simple and clean, this standard Euro-style lager shows remarkable control over technique. But as most of these lagers go, the beer lacks any signature quality that differentiates it from any other.

Grainy-sweet aromas contain lots of sulfur scents along with a mild floral/flowery hop complex. Alcohol and waifer-like breads help to bring together the aromatics and disguise the sulfur notes.

Bright golden-straw in color, this clean looking lager carries a modest white head that retains and laces fairly well. A good look overall.

Fresh barley and cereal flavors give a cracker flavor to the malty character of the beer while floral hops give a mild earthy/spicy taste just before its transition to bitterness. Just bitter enough to offset the sweetness, the hops also mask the match stick-like sulfur flavor and somewhat minerally taste. The beer finishes with a bittering, minty hop flavor.

Light and crisp throughout, this beer never challenges with much initial creaminess or weight. Carbonation gives a scrubbing feel as the sulfur feel impeeds on the throat. Though bitterness is a bit harsh and the grain character is noticable, the beer never reaches astringent levels. Just bitey in the end.

A fine lager that is loosely based on authentic German Pilsners. Simplified and weakened in recipe, the beer can't compete with fuller flavored Lagers.

Clear golden colour, with a small head that fades soon, leaving some lace and ring. Aroma of malts, corn. Medium body, average carbonation. Tasted of corn, malt. Just another refreshing boring beer.

Pours a clear golden body with three fingers of bright white foam that beautifully laces the glass. Aromas typical for the style: grains and honey with some light hay or straw. Taste is consistent with the nose and is better than most other Euro-lagers in that it is free of any sort of artificial/chemical funkiness. Easy to drink, nothing super ponderous.

Being a celiac in Indianapolis - this is the closest thing to beer as you're going to find. Growing up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and only recently discovering my gluten intolerance, this beer is a God-send!!! If you can drink normal beer, I can see how it'd be a 3, but here in Indy, it's a 5

Brilliant gold in color with a fingernail of eggshell white. Excellent clarity and light lacing. Heavy aroma of corn with a hint of skunkiness. The flavor is corn on the front of the palate and then a familiar well water edge from what I think is Danish lager yeast takes over. The mouth is thin and watery.

Bright dark straw color with low activity and faint floating detritus. Thick foamy white 3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with good legs. Flavors of sweet grains dominant corn, vegetal, minerals, light lemon, floral and herbal hops. Soft slick oily medium to full body with prickly carbonation. Light strength finish, barley cereal feel with rice adjuncts, a bit salty and leafy. Good freshness. Overly accessible but this Damn time it was drinkable compared to the regular one. More balanced and bearable. Overall average quality craft.
