Our take on a traditional Belgian Wit. Brewed with Lemondrop hops to accentuate the lemony characteristics of the yeast.

Fruity taste and smell. White yellow color. Not bad, but unremarkable.

Cloudy gold appearance with a large, fast fading, white head that left light lacing. Yeasty, spicy aroma dotted with banana and lemon. Taste is more wheaty and herbal while maintaining a zesty, spicy. peppery edge. A subtle sweetness adds balance. Paired well with our seafood dinner this evening.

This was a good, clean, and creamy wit with a nice lemon and grassy scent and taste. There was nothing earth shattering about it, but it was still really solid.

On tap at brewery:
Pours with an opaqueness on the light orange-amber body. Near white head sits atop the beer, mainly at the edge, but there is decent surface coverage. Lacing is satin sheets of micro-bubbles on 1/3 to 1/2 the opposite glass wall.

Nose has a light spice aspect to it as it sits. Give it a swirl, though, and a lemony note comes on that combines with the wheat and yeast to give an orange-like overall impression. It reminds me in a good way of an orange being in the Wit beer. The spice is light earthy coriander and maybe something with just a little more bite like nutmeg.

Taste has similar basic notes as the nose, but lacks some of the flair. Wheat malt opening yields to a light banana and spice with a citrus aspect. The blending of the notes hides their individuality a bit, becoming a tasty, but simpler flavor.

The feel is smooth, medium to a little lighter, soft, lightly carbonated, and overall just nice to my palate.

A solid beer, very approachable. The nose shines, and the feel is solid. I quite enjoyed this.
