Pours hazy yellow beer, minimal malt in the bill for sure. Flavor is solid, rich dry hop flavor with minimal malt or bitterness. However it definitely lacks the body of a true Northeast IPA, low-medium body at best

A - Pours a pale orange body, slightly translucent but profoundly hazy, moderate white head, fading to a thin cap, and extensive lacing.
S - Nose is big, full of fruit, tangerine and orange notes, and a bit of dank spiciness.
T - Soft, subtle, clean flavors of peach, mango and tangerine citrus. Close is quiet, with just a hint of pith bitterness in the finish.
M - Feel is relatively light, with the experience refreshing and highly drinkable.
O - It is clear that this needs to be a regular for me from here on out. Such a fine NEIPA, it is delicious and satisfying.

Notes from 2017:
Thoroughly hazed, naturally, utterly orange, with a prodigious, fluffy, lace-leaving white head. Looking great for the part.
In the nose: bright, brilliant, aburst with sunshine-y Citra hop sensations. The key to this beer is the extra dry-hopping with that do-no-wrong duo of Citra and Mosaic. Alone, they do just fine, but together they're unstoppable.
In the mouth: there's that "juicy" that's essential in the NE-style. Juicy, juicy, Joo-say! Bitterness garbs the palate just a bit at first, then is swallowed up by the juice. Touches of tropical meets the citric. Guava and passionfruit to bridge the orange and grapefruit. Malt is almost an afterthought. What we have going on in the mouthfeel is plush, yeasty, pillowy, squishy. Makes the beer go down mighty fine.
It's a tasty one, that's for sure. An admirable and absolutely likable brew. I might be turning around on these NE-IPAs, maybe, possibly, don't quote me on that. I still like them old time IPAs.
The more I drink it, the more I want to call it damned delicious. And maybe I will.
Although, it would be nice if folks could get it together: New England or Northeast, pick one and stick to it. Maybe that will happen. No one could settle Black IPA vs. Black Ale vs Cascadian Dark Ale, and before you know it, no one cares.

Superb beer. Just a bit malty for my taste in a hazy. Well done!

the orange color of this thing is like what you dream about beer looking like when you were a kid. its just so refreshing in appearance you instantly want to crush it. look around the brewery and everyone is asking which beer THAT is. thats when you know you nailed the color.
feel of this on your tongue doesnt surprise at all after seeing what it looks like. perfectly sweet that covers up the super bitterness of an ipa but not to the point of it tasting like a juice or cider. These are so unbelievably easy to drink its almost stupid. enjoyed the first one of these and then slammed 5 of these before a minnesota wild game and stumbled to the arena. I had to go back on other days to try their other beers because i couldn't order anything else that first day. incredible.

Had on tap. Sat down at the bar at the brewery and asked the bartender what the beer would be the most barrel theory experience. Without a second of hesitation she said this one. Looks like dark orange juice with white foam and lacing. Super fruit in the nose: pineapple, huge peach, orange, grapefruit, lime, mango, and passion fruit. I mean its citra and mosaic hopped, it going to be a good, the combo never fails. Taste took all of those flavors from the smell, plus melon and some light biscuit malts, and made a juicy and super easy drinking neipa. Super fresh, juicy, and creamy. Next thing I knew my glass was empty! Could take some more of the hop bitters to give a bigger finish, but I'm being picky
