Looks like a glass of grapefruit juice, really thick milkshake look with a dense eggshell colored head. The Citra hops literally explode from the 750ML can when you pop the top, with grapefruit, pineapple, and orange aromas vying for your attention. The last time I had the aromas literally leap from the can was Surly Abrasive a few years back, so the nose popping like it does is definitely a good thing.
The citrus flavors are really forward on the taste, which is a most excellent development, but there’s an underlying sweetness that reminds me a lactose addition, which actually diminishes the citrus flavors a bit. The mouthfeel is a smidge watery, but overall this is a really outstanding beer, IMHO.

On tap. White head. Hazy sunset orange.
Lots of flavor here. Tropical and juicy. Melon, orange juice, mango, papaya. Smooth and soft. Honey dew sweetness in the finish.

Pours a very hazy golden straw color. smell was tropical with ripe mango,citrus and papaya. Taste very floral with ripe fresh fruit,some prickly citrus hops in the finish. Medium carbonation with some hop bitterness and a dry finish. Very nice pungent citra hops liked the reg Shooter better than the DDH thou.
