Sampling a cellar temp 12 oz can poured into my snifter. The beer is part of a package for BIF33 winnings.
The beer pours a dark cola brown with a soft and fluffy tan head of 2 cm . This foam fades to a sturdy surface layer that remains throughout the sampling.
Aroma is some rich milk chocolate a bit of sweetened coffee and some mild coconut. No hop hints and no ABV giveaways of the 10% on the can.
The first sip reveals a medium body with very smooth texture and soft gentle carbonation very easy drinking physical traits on this beer. Flavor is sweeter chocolate and some light and sweet coffee and also a bit of a brown sugar note. The coconut comes through here as well and is pleasant and mixes well with the rest of the beer. Again no real hop presence and the booze is also well hidden.
A nice imperial stout for a cold January evening. Glad to have tried this one.

Pours inky black with a very nice head of foam that leaves nice lacing. The aroma all malty, with chocolate, vanilla and coconut. Taste follows suite, nearly exactly, though coconut is more present in the profile for taste. There is sweetness without being heavy and the bear hides it's 10% well. This is tasty and enjoyable. Very little to find fault here. Thumbs up!

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dark malts, coffee and coconut are present in the nose.
T: Moderate aromas of dark malts and coffee beans are present in the nose along with hints of coconut.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the accents of coconut in this coffee stout. It did a very good job at hiding nearly of the alcohol from the taste.

Fine black body; very dense and creamy light khaki hued head. Fine roasted grain aroma; a faint touch of cocoa. Excellent sweet, malty flavor with a touch of coffee on the back end; mild chocolate sweetness; coconut is there but well-hidden. Heavy body; smooth and oily; base residual sugar sweetness yet also has an bit of a dry edge with alcohol warmth.
This stout delivers some tasty goods. I didn't note any strong presence of cocoa, coconut or coffee, but that is probably a good thing. Overall, this is a nicely balanced, complex, and delicious beer.

Presentation: 12 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a glass coffee mug.
Appearance: The dense, one finger head goes away fairly quickly and leaves behind some lacing in small spots. It's a dark caramel, cola-like color.
Smell: It's a strong, sweet scent of milk chocolate and fresh, raw coconut. It smells good, but there's a strange, musty funk in the background that doesn't let everything else flourish.
Taste: There's a strong, milk chocolate sweetness at first but it's reminiscent of the cheap, mass produced stuff that tastes overly sugary. That's followed up by a sun tan lotion-like fake coconut flavor. Taste is not this beer's forte.
Mouthfeel: It's very smooth and creamy but it gets cloying after a while because of the strong sweetness. It's on the thicker side in terms of body and carbonation is medium-low. In the aftertaste, there's a chalky, dusty roughness, probably from the substantial amount of sediment that was in this can.
Overall: This beer has potential but Wild Leap needs to tweak it a little bit. The concept is there, and the ingredients are there but it's held back by small details that keep it from being great. As it stands it's not bad, but not great either. Just okay.

Pours dark brown with a finger of fizzy mocha head that’s not long for this world. Zero lacing.
Chocolate and a strong roasty element in the nose that border umami.
Tons of chocolate and loads more coconut in the taste. Much, much sweeter than the nose implied with none of the roastiness. Intensely sweet, really. There may be a hint of coffee in there, but it’s hard to pick out through all the chocolate, coconut and sugar.
Medium bodied and slick feeling with strong carbonation.
Sniffing this, I expected almost an RIS. Sipping it, it’s straight-up Mounds bar. Those looking for sugary chocolate-coconut concoctions should enjoy this immensely.
