A: Poured from the half-growler into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is golden-yellow with a small white head, which leaves behind some lace.

S: Peach skin, apricots and sweeter tropical fruit (mango, papaya).

T: Follows the nose, with ripe peaches and tropical fruit. A bit sweet.

M: Medium in heft, a little bit slick in feel.

O: It has its moments. But a little too sweet for me overall.

A: The beer is quite hazy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that settled down rather quickly, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar consisting of medium-sized bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of orange and grapefruit citrus are present in the nose along with some hints of pine.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of citrusy hops along with a touch of pine and bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and quite juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that the juicy mouthfeel was this beer's strongest attribute.

A: Pours a very hazy medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium yellow + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall sudsy foamy light beige head that reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, tropical/mango, and pine hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + oat malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.

T: Upfront there is a just shy of moderate flavor of biscuit + oat malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, tropical/mango, and pine hops which imparts a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly leaving a lingering citrus + pine hop flavor.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable with a juicy hop presence and a pleasant mouthfeel.

From a growler, it pours hazy yellow color with a off white head that faded slowly and left good spotty lacing. Smells and tastes of grapefruit, lemon zest, tangerine, melon, orange peel, lime, pineapple and then toasted grains and graham cracker. The malts come on stronger as it warms, but it’s a nice smooth IPA.

Can purchased at City Beer Hall in Albany, NY.

This one pours a fairly hazy orange color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.

This smells like melon and orange, with a big grassy bitterness, and some pine.

This is yet another really solid West Kill beer. There's melon, grapefruit, and orange all up in this, providing a big juiciness, but also providing a touch of rindy and grassy bitterness. It's a really well constructed IPA.

This is medium bodied, and pretty creamy, with a good level of drinkability, and a typical level of carbonation.

I continue to be really impressed by West Kill.

Excellent IPA that truly stands out among whats become a very common, popular, tiresome style. Delicious and drinkable for many rounds, as are all the beers I’ve tried from West Kill. This brewery is among the best you’ll find in North East or even nationwide.

L: Very Hazy, golden yellow with a finger of white head which lingers leaving plenty of lacing.

S: Grapefruit, citrus, some orange.

T: Follows nose. Hardly any bitterness. Easy drinking for its ABV.

F: Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: Classic NE style IPA. Delicious.
