Black body with brown edging and head. The nose is atrocious! At first you get the neapolitan aromas, especially chocolate, but when having had a sip recently it reeks of rubber with a touch of roast malt. It is so potent too, have to hold my breath when going in for sips. Which is too bad because it tastes amazing: sweet strawberry with constructive vanilla and milk chocolate with roasted depth. Really well done with balance of sweet dessert atop the malt body. Obviously sweet feeling, but with frothy smoothness and maltwork it works, hides booze perfectly. It just smells so bad!

On draft at More. Black with a tiny bit of head. Smells incredible, exactly like neapolitan ice cream. Strawberry and vanilla really come through in the smell, a little bit of chocolate too. The taste is really well balanced, with strawberry flavor up front, but no tartness that often comes with strawberries. Pretty good bitterness too, from the chocolate and from the roasty flavors of the base stout, that comes through in the middle. Vanilla comes through at the end. Really, really harsh alcohol burn though. Almost hard to believe it's not BA. I don't think I've ever gotten this kind of burn from a non-BA stout before. Overall, really good.

Thick, delicious strawberry on vanilla wafer cookies--sweet but not at all cloyingly so...fantastic!

You smell and taste all of the flavors of Neapolitan ice cream. They are all on point. The strawberries especially. I never thought that strawberries could taste is awesome in a stout. Low carbonation that is adequate. Thicker bodied stout, but not quite motor oil. Not a hint of booze. This is a fantastic stout!

The chocolate over powers all the other flavors and leaves your palate yearning for some balance. Half way through my pour the dark chocolate made it undrinkable and had to drain pour it. Aside from that the beer had exceptionally nice characteristics. Mouth feel was nice and viscous, smell had me thinking I was about to eat a Neapolitan ice cream sandwich

Poured from 22oz bottle into a snifter.

Pours a deep black oily body with a small head. Little lacing.

Aromas are heavy and potent - chocolate covered strawberries dominate here. Taste is milk chocolate, strawberry, cocoa, sweet. Not as much strawberry in the tongue as the nose but still very present. Mouthfeel is on point, silky smooth with low carb.

They hit this one on the nose. Just as advertised.

L: Jet black with a quickly fading head.
S: Creamy strawberry ice cream with vanilla and chocolate.
T: Same as smell. Strawberry dominates this beer.
F: Thick and chewy.
O: Fantastic beer.

We opened up a bottle on NYE and it's holding up remarkably well. Whenever you age beers adjuncted this heavily it's always a concern but the strawberry was still front row center.

Almost worthy of being on level with Prop 14 (which I consider the Best Beer I’ve ever had...as of this posting). Imagine if it was Barrel Aged? Surprised that it isn’t.

650ml bottle, Batch 1. Served in a snifter glass.

Pours a dark black body, opaque with a one finger tan brown head, good retention and medium collar. Not much lacing. Smell is rich strawberry and vanilla; literally smells like a Neapolitan shake. Creamy chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Flavour is moderately sweet strawberry and marshmallowy vanilla, pretty much an ice cream scoop. Plenty of milk chocolate and fudge backing it up. Mouthfeel is medium-fuller bodied, creamy, like drinking a viscous and creamy milkshake. A very pleasantly surprising pastry stout, pretty much Neapolitan ice cream in a glass. This reminded me a lot of Rare Scooop, of course without the barrel aging. Good execution with a lot of strawberry and vanilla flavour.
