From Labirratorium. In Teku glass. At lunch. Soup (small balls and eggs) nd san jacobo+lettuce+white fish. Very similar to an alcoholic wit, specially in nose. Citric. Body a bit more watery than desiderable.Best 0.0 Ive tasted

I dont really like the original Bavaria, let alone the alcohol free version. This one tastes surprisingly well tho. Hints of banana on sweet malts. A little bit sour. No cornflakes taste, like a lot of other 0.0 beers. Still prefer any weizen with alcohol over this. But for 0.0 beers speaking. Definitely one of the best out there.

I had this beer before and I was really surprised on many levels and so I decided to give this the honor of a full review.
This beer looks just like a wit beer with its straw yellow cloudy body and its white frothy head of two fingers leaving the right amount of lacing while dissipating.
The aroma is just perfect with its coriander spice and orange bitter fruitiness. Interestingly neither coriander nor curacao are mentioned on the label but acacia extract.
The taste is all witbier again and follows the nose, though coriander is subdued, but there is the fruitiness, the wheat sourness towards the end and only, of course, the alcohol at the center is missing as this is a alcohol free beer.
Mouth feel is much better than your regular alcohol free beer as the usual watery blandness is subdued by the suspended yeast(?).
This is until now the best alcohol free beer I have ever had. I could imagine drinking this on a hot summer day instead of a regular witbier as this is in fact better than some of its alcoholic witbier cousins. Coriander, curacao and yeast all typical ingredients of a witbier are not mentioned on the label and maybe not present. This is a bit suspicious, but I do not care as this is an almost perfect alcohol free emulation of a witbier.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Sept 2013. Picked up cheap from Morrisons a little while back. The ingredient list includes acacia extract but no yeast - has this even been fermented?
Poured into a straight pint glass. A hazy pale straw colour with medium carbonation. Forms a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a patchy surface layer. Aroma of fruity yeast esters with notes of banana, coriander, clove, mild orange peel, faint spice, light malt and earthy yeast. It has a very subtle synthetic character, but is a pretty good approximation of a regular wit.
Tastes of sweet, fruity yeast esters with an artificial quality and a mild finish. Notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, coriander, mild orange peel, subtle spice, faint earthy yeast and a strange fruitiness. Slightly dry and unusually sweet, with hints of stewed grain and artificial flavourings. A subdued yeasty note upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is velvety smooth and dry, but very flat and textureless. Body is OK. An aftertaste of sweet, fruity yeast esters and bubblegum.
Hmmm - unusual. It looks almost like the real deal, and the aroma is a decent mimic as well. However the flavour leaves something to be desired; it's too sweet and has bizarre artificial hints that spoil it. The body could also use work - where's the carbonation? That said, I suppose this is a fair stab at an alcohol-free brew. It's better than many low-alcohol lagers and does a reasonable job of imitating a wit. I'm still not sure I'd choose this if the situation demanded it; there are other alcohol-free drinks out there. Worth trying if you need to avoid booze.

300 ml bottle at home.
Very pale/faded yellow colour, slighty hazy, two finger head, soapy. No bubbles or activity whatsoever in the glass. Head has a good retention and it leaves xome lacing around the glass.
Aroma of fruits. Banana, apples.
Taste is also fruity and sweet. Some bubblegum flavour traceable.Very refreshing.
Mouthfeel:very thin on body and minimal carbonation.
Overall, very good for a non alcoholic white beer.

330ml can poured into a pint glass
a: pours a hazy pale color, nearly white, with a fluffy white three finger head
s: orange and lemon peel, wheaty, maybe a hint of coriander but quite light. a bit soapy as well.
t: crisp and light, wheat and lemon/orange flavors. the weakness comes at the finish - incredibly light mouthfeel, and unbalanced. there is nothing to give it body, so the citrus overpowers. i know, i know, its a low alcohol beer.
o: amazing for the style. would be really nice on a hot day while hiking or something where i would want to save alcohol for later.

Bavaria Wit, ABV: 0,0%.
330 ml bottle, 7.90 SEK at Systembolaget.
A: It pours very bright, hazy, yellow, almost white, and leaves a tiny white head. Amusing.
S: The nose gets a real sweet and fruity aroma, with obvious notes of honey, some citrus (perhaps lemon and mandarin), and only minor hints of spices.
T: On the tongue this is sweet and sour. Honey and citrus are dominant. Somehow candy, medicin and dishwater comes to mind, but straight from the fridge it's still OK.
M: Bitterness is pretty much non-existing (of course), and both body and carbonation is quite light. It sure is drinkable.
O: Served ice cold (to scare most of that dishwater away) this is still a pretty special summer drink, and even though it doesn't taste much like beer to me, this is one of the most interesting non-alcoholic ones I've had.
