Our flagship IPA has won numerous awards including a World Beer Cup Gold, and we're mighty proud of it. Full of pine, citrus, and resin notes this copper hued ale is a classic example of a well-balanced Northwest IPA.

Arrived a burnt orange color that was slightly cloudy. A amber orange hue through out, there was a soft fizzy head with good retention and lacing.
The nose has a great hop note. A good citrus aroma with a light floral finish. Hops dominate the nose and right along the West coast lines. Some orange and a light catty aroma but not over the top. Some minor malt notes with a hint of toffee and caramel but hard to come out versus the hops. The yeast is clean, not much coming out.
The taste is right on par with a west coast IPA. There is more of a citrus and pine flavor with a hint of orange and lemon zest on the back end. Nice lingering hop notes with a bit of stickiness. The bitterness is just a touch much leaving an astringent finish. But a very distinct hop note that really lasts through the taste. The malt is a bit under balanced but ok for an IPA. Some caramel sweet notes but mostly malty undertones. Some minor yeast notes but for the most part very clean.
The body is moderate to light and allows the hops to really shine. Some astringency on the back end but ok. Overall a great IPA that is fairly under the radar and a classic example of a west coast IPA. Very tasty.
