Our flagship IPA has won numerous awards including a World Beer Cup Gold, and we're mighty proud of it. Full of pine, citrus, and resin notes this copper hued ale is a classic example of a well-balanced Northwest IPA.

Well, Hiro said it: this is an outstanding beer in every way. Poured from a growler that was filled at the brewpub, it's maintained its creaminess, and put forth a small, tight head despite the fact that I first opened the growler nearly 48 hours ago. Handsome tawny orange, with an absolutely perfect hop nose. Strong sweet grapefruit notes, with fragrant flower blossoms. There is a big fruity sweetness to this beer, perhaps from malts, but the hops buttress it and bring it to the next level. The malts are rich, lightly smoky, with gentle nourishing bread flavors. A ton of hops, but not overly bitter, and wholly subtle in a way that most beers can only dream of being. The balance is just about perfect. Mouthfeel is soft, very fluid, and not at all sticky when you're thinking about all the hop resin involved. Some hopheads may find it a bit too slippery, but to me it aided drinkability to no end. Walking Man is a small and entirely local brewery, but if this beer was to get widespread distribution, it would be a fantastic success. In the meantime, I will try not to gloat, but I am secretly cackling and rubbing my hands together with glee that I am drinking this beer and you aren't. Nyah nyah.
