Circa Brewing Co.

Big open space brewery where you can sit literally feet away from where your beer was made! Food is great and beer is even better. Well worth the trip to downtown Brooklyn. Catch a game on the big screen or just play some shuffleboard.

Downtown Brooklyn location...and its a brewery, so give them points for trying to pull that off.

Multiple rooms, brewing tanks behind the bar, about 10 of their own brews available on tap. Cans and crowlers available to go...

Burgers, salads, and a larger selection of artisinal pizzas available for your chowing pleasure. worthy spot for pints of brew and some tasty chow....would work if you are out in downtown BKLYN or taking in an event at the nearby Barclays center.

 

 

 

 

 

we had a great time in here, seems like not a ton of breweries have food in the city, at least the ones we went to, so we were stoked on the grub here, which is really what brought us in in the first place. we had a white clam pie (my first ever), and it was fire, but we also had a handmade calzone as big as my torso that was incredible, the food was really awesome, definitely eat when you go here! they had a cool selection of beers too, and all of them were pretty good. i really liked the spruce ale and the autumn saison, while the coconut porter was pretty solid. only the belgian kriek missed the mark for me, not a kriek at all as i know them, but still taste as a fruited wheat. the space is big and modern, lots of seating, quite bustling for a weeknight when we were in, but the service was fantastic at the bar, we got paid attention to, informed, and treated well. the pizza and the beer went great together, and it was a fun place to recharge a little bit. definitely put these guys on your list when you are in new york!

Cool place, very nice staff, loved the pizza, the beer is undrinkable. If they didn’t have food, they would be out of business.

 

Vibe: I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the brewpub was rather busy—there was a live band playing near the front and there were a bunch of groups consisting of parents with small children at the long benches in the back. The place had a variety of seating options, including some tables outdoor.

Quality: Beers were served at the proper temperature in a variety of different glassware including pint glasses and stemmed snifters.

Service: There was a lot of servers working so it never took a long time for someone to come over and take an order or check to see if we needed anything.

Selection: The brewpub had seven of its beers on-tap including: Altbier, Doppelsticke, Dry Irish Stout, Irish Red Ale, Kölsch, Pilsner, and Session IPA. Flights of four were also available and these had decent sized glasses.

Food: They had six different pizzas on the menu so we tried one of them called "Shawarma", which had merged sausage, mozzarella, harissa, mustard greens, parsley, mint, and lemon yogurt. It was quite tasty.

 

 

 

Good food, cool vibe. 12 beers on tap, 4 were out. Gose was pretty good, DIPA and nitro stout were ok.

A cool space and close of my office so will try it again in a few months when they have flights going.
