Across the street from the Recoleto cemetery, so we stopped for beer and snacks afterwards. nice outdoor area with umbrellas, but it was also the smoking section so we sat inside. which was open air to the outside on this nice day as well. pretty big place, a large bar and lots of tables. They had 6 flagship beers on tap, a couple of seasonals, then some guest taps as well. I had a flight of the 6 beers- all solid but not really spectacular. The appetizer dish we had was pretty good. service was just okay. English beer/food menu available.

Decent enough place to stop by for food and escape from the cheap ubiquitous local crap beer. Nice outdoor beer garden across the street from the famous Recoleto cemetery and adjacent craft market

I've been coming here or the downtown pub whenever I work in BA over the the last five years. The food has always been above average and the service very good. They have menus in English and my servers have always spoken it. Their beers have generally been average to slightly above compared to American craft beer. But today the IPA and stout I had was better than in the past.

A pleasant place to sit outside and have a homemade beer. Possibly one of the few in Buenos Aires.

I was brought here by colleagues from the local office. If the weather is good, sit outside. The feel is very European cafe like, with lots of four and six top tables on a big stone patio overlooking a huge town square. The beer was reasonably good, better than I'd expect for a country that hasn't yet embraced craft brewing. Eight to ten choices touching various styles. The pub food appetizer plate was huge and slightly above average. Worth a return if I ever make it back.

Very dark bar downtown BA took a while for my eyes to adjust, in fact I think more light came off the TV then anything else. The place was full of Suit and Ties eating Lunch? hard too tell in a place where people go for breakfast at 2pm and dinner at midnight. Emptied out pretty fast so I'm assuming it's a lunch hotsopt for BA's important folks. Upstairs was even darker and if it were not for a couple people eating I would have assumed it was closed off. Not cheap for BA but on par with prices back home (Alberta) the bathroom was pretty bad but at least it had TP unlike many places I went too. I had a Chicken Ceaser that was pretty good with more cheese and chicken then greens. My server did quite well considering we didn't understand a word the other was saying, I doubt there's much better in BA give it a go if your ever in the area

Buller's was located at the end of the street (and around the corner) where our hotel was. I spent 2 weeks in Buenos Aires, and from what I can tell, this was the only place you could really find "Good" dark beer on tap. The food was pretty good, the selection was decent for our standards, but given the fact that everywhere else was Budweiser and "Quilmes" (I believe it's called) I was ecstatic to discover this place.

If you are in Buenos Aires, and want to get American Style craft beer.... then this place is for you!

My wife and I went there almost every day to grab a stout if nothing else.

my table had a cool placemat with diagrams of styles and the brewing process--in español, of course. this perhaps alludes to the nascent status of craft beer in south america (the beer i drank here was another clue and the beer i had at Antares was an even bigger clue). the interior was a nifty example of the trendy industrial look, with wood and steel apparently the most utilized materials. functional kettles in sight and i watched Boca Juniors play Arsenal on the big screen

the waiter was prompt and spoke english well enough. my spanish was sufficient but he seemed to like the opportunity to practice. i had a tasty pizza

my biggest complaint with the beers was a conspicuous lack of head, which lead to aroma problems

i lost my other page of notes. i think i tried the IPA and stout...crap

This place seems to be modeled after the American brewpub experience, it just had that feel of an urban corporate brewpub from the US...I don't know.

It was fairly empty during the afternoon when I was there but the people working were very attentive to me and some colleagues.

We had a few beers each, I had the pale ale and the stout which were both great compared to all the Quilmes and Brahma I had been consuming.

The calamari was very good as well.

Decent place, wish I could have checked out some of the other brewpubs in BA but I didn't have the chance.

I liked this place. 6 beers on tap:dry stout, india pale ale, light lager, cream pale ale, octoberfest, and honey beer. (I thought the dry stout and honey beer were the best). It's best to visit at Happy Hour (6-9 pm) for reduced prices for pints. At other hours, it's just too expensive (14-18 pesos, which equals 4-5 US $). Remember, you can go to local BA pubs and drink the local lager for about a dollar. BA is very inexpensive!! (my hotel was $13 and huge meals with steak and wine cost only $8).

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Buller Brewing Company in the spring of 2006. I didn't really know what to expect since the microbrewery craze hasn't really caught on in Argentina. I was happily surprised as I sat in the outdoor beer garden right in the middle of the Paris-inspired Recoleta neighborhood.

The beers were quite well done. I had the sampler set which consisted of a light lager, cream pale ale, honey ale, oktoberfest, IPA, and dry stout. All of the beers were well made, with the lager, pale, and IPA being my favorites.

As I was there for the beer, I wasn't expecting much in the food department. However, the pizza was amazing - some of the best I have ever had! I highly recommend it.

I also checked out their new alehouse downtown. More of a club atmosphere, but it was right next to my hotel so I couldn't pass it up.
