Look- hazy but not overly so it’s a nice golden orange
Smell- earthy with scents of mango, orange, and a hint of papaya
Taste- this is Avery drinkable hazy ipa. Goes down smoothly . Very easy to crush
Feel- good mouth feel
Overall- an excellent choice of quality without going over the top

Jumping aboard the hazy train, the sound sensitive Gravely Brewing Company doles out a hazy, New England-styled IPA that's all about de base(er), no treble.
With a pale and burnish gold pour, Debaser floats a frothy stark white cap with a bold grassy scent, chocked with citrus zest and berry-like aromas greeting the nose nearly immediately. Its gentle malt display offers hints of cereal, shortcake and floral honeysuckle as the early palate favors the malt bill.
But a quick transition to hop flavor happens across the middle palate as the malts start to recede and the floral hop scent turns fruity on the tongue. Bold suggestions of pink grapefruit, orange, passionfruit and lemon lead the way with a large citrus taste and secondary tropical flavors. Trending bitter, spicy and fresh, the late palate carries a tone of botanical gin, green tea and fresh spruce.
Medium bodied but trending lighter, the sharper and drier tone of the beer has it drifting away from the common character of "hazy" IPA, and more into the slight sense of more West Coast varieties. Crisp, refreshing and concise, the finish comes with an elevated sprucy bitterness and a long linger of fresh grasses, herbs and a spicy hop bite.

This is a perfect example of a hazy IPA that is not too hazy, but has a nice juice burst finish to it. Gravely has many great beers, but this one is one of my favorites. Their distribution is top notch as well, you can find this in several locations locally.

This is what an IPA should taste like. Smooth. Delicious. Brewed with pride. This is NO doubt one of the finest IPAs ever made. The boys down in the 502 know a little something about brewing beer, so the next time you want to drink first class, grab a Debaser. Perfection at its finest!
