Quality: While this store specializes in wines and specialty foods, the beer selection seems very well kept. Everything was rotated and I didn't spot any dusty bottles.
Service: I went during lunch, and was greeted warmly on the way in. I did my beer browsing without any offers of help, but did receive some assistance when making my cheese purchase.
Selection: The overall selection of beer is a bit small, but they have a good selection of Belgian brews. Rochefort, St. Bernardus, Oud Beersel, and several others not easily found in St. Louis are here. The English and German selection was small and uninteresting, and U.S. micros are mostly non-existent.
Overall, I found a few gems, but this won't be a regular stop for me.

Always seem to find a rarity or two whenever I visit. Small but awesome selection. I talked to an employee Paul? I can't remember his name but is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great beer selection. They have done a nice job of offering singles which was initially my only complaint. Pretty open to taking a single of anything as long as you're not ripping it out of the package. I've always found the staff quite friendly and helpful. Beer rewards club is a bonus and a nice way to get a chance at low allocation beers. Only place outside of the brewery to find the occasional Side Project beer due to their relationship with Cory. They also have lots of other stuff I'd you're so inclined and will place online holds and transfer between stores.

near my hotel in upscale (as far as dt. louis goes) area. was of beer. vast majority shelf residents and the inferior versions of name brand craft breweries. average of 2 years from release most at max price. picked through to get a tiny fraction of interesting beers and fresh locals. no service no vibe.

The staff were willing to answer questions but were not very forthcoming with information. The selection was good but it is difficult to find specific beers.

I love this place! I visit this store at least once a week. They have everything you could possibly ever want in beer, wine, and liquor along with all the gourmet foods they stock. If there is an off chance they don't have what you're looking for they will go out of there way to find it for you. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and will help in any way they can. If you're in St. Louis and looking for a favorite beer, wine, bourbon, scotch or you would just like a nice brie and some prosciutto stop by TWCP.

Thorough selection of beer (and wine, bourbon and cheese) - lots of local craft beer available. They also have a great selection of imported beers if you're looking for that. Staff isn't the most helpful - unless you're one of the regulars they know. Still, a great place to go for good craft beer

This is easily the best beer, wine, whiskey, and gourmet food store in St. Louis. If you are looking for a well curated selection of beer, wine, scotch, bourbon, spirits, candy, cheese, dips, or other gourmet snacks and small foods, this is your destination. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable as well.
Specifically talking about beer, they have a tremendous selection of local craft, national craft, international, and macro brands. Basically, if the distro is available, they have it. They also have a rewards club, the BRC, which is free to join and how they allocate limited products.
Overall, this is pretty much the only beer and liquor store you need to know in St. Louis. Sure, other stores have quality and selection as well, but this store has something for everyone in the most literal sense possible.

The selection and the people make this the greatest bottle shop I know. Paul, who runs the shop, cares deeply about beer and his customers. He does his best to create fair systems to distribute allocated beers, and his barrel-aging partnership with our excellent local breweries is a genius innovation that has turned out some fantastic beers. Plus, the shelf selection alone should please anyone. And they host Friday afternoon tastings to boot! The only thing I'd realistically hope to see them add would be some music (why not?)--and ideally some kind of bottle share series in their nice tasting room. Really a great shop!

Broad geographic selection of beers, including a lot of stuff (European and other global craft beer) that you just can’t find anywhere else. Great communication via social media and the blog which keeps you in the know of all the latest beer releases. Very cool collaborations with local breweries: they donate used whisky barrels to brewers for special releases! Shelf space is somewhat limited as wine and spirits take up a lot of the store. You have to be wary about old beer sitting on the shelves, keep your eye out for dust layers.
